We visited here a couple of times during our stay in Barcelona.

It's a quaint little cafe with limited seating both outside and inside but we were lucky to get a table outside both times.

We ordered a fantastic hot chocolate with churros (try it if you go!).

Second time we had a sandwich which was also tasty on lovely, crusty bread.

Service is a little slow and it does get busy, but if you can, it's definitely worth a visit!

Thank Jon O

My husband and I went here for breakfast yesterday and received horrible service. We bought two breakfast specials that included Orange juice, but our waitress brought out coffees and food relatively quickly, but no orange juice. About 15 minutes after receiving our meals, we asked her if we could get the Orange juices that came with our meal. Then another customer brought their coffees back complaining they were cold. 10 minutes later, we asked again, and she responded "yes, I KNOW" with a BIG eye roll. Totally inappropriate. After waiting another 5 minutes, we got up and left, never receiving the Orange juice we paid for. I'll never go back.

Dear customers. I am sos orry for your bad experience. We talked to the waittress you talk about, she remembered you as when she came back with the orange juices for you you were gone and this is not something that usually happens. She regrets forgetting to delivered them whith the full order. Even though she never intended to roll her eyes when you ask for the juice.
We are very sorry for your experience as this is not the service we try to give to our customers.
I hope to see you again and offer the service you really deserve.

If you're a local, come to get served. If you're a tourist, expect them to forget about you.

Went here three times because I was staying nearby. They get very busy, which is not a problem. But all three times I visited, I order, pay and wait only to have my order completely forgotten about. So tourists, it is up to you to put pressure on them to in order to get served.

The smoothies are very expensive for what they are. I ordered one, they forgot, and what they hastily made was a watery juice. More expensive and worse quality than the fresh juice/smoothies at La Boqueria just down the Rambla, which sell for 1-2 euro. Maybe this is an anomaly, because when I returned the next day, local customers who ordered a smoothie got a thicker drink.

Come here if you're not in a rush or don't mind being aggressive for service if you're a tourist.

Thank Pamela P

Dear Pamela,
I am very sorry you felt ignored but I am sure it was not our intention. We do not make any difference between locals and tourists. Due to our location 90% of our clients are tourist, specially during this time of the year. If we really do what you suggest we would not exist at all. In fact, as you can see, most reviews here are made by tourists and they describe a great service.
Regarding te smoothie, we do not use any water on them, only fruit, if yours was wattery it was indeed an anomaly. It would have been appreciated if you could have comunicate this to the staff, I am sure they would have changed that straight away.
Thank you for your comments.

Thank you
