As was only staying one night in Barcelona, picked this hotel as it was so close to see the sights. We were told we could leave our bags before check in and also after check out which was great for us as our flight wasn't until 8.30pm. Our room had 2 singles and a sofa bed, the bathroom had a great shower and amazing bath, only draw back was the bathroom had no door. The toilet was separate however 3 in our party so no door was awkward when showering. Room maybe better for couples. It was so hot during our stay and the air con was good although could not be turned down passed 19 degrees. Staff were friendly and willing to help. Were able to arrange an extremely early taxi for one of our party.

Don't be put off by the word Hostal in the title. Forget illusions of bunk beds and shared facilities. The only things to be shared here are the lift and the free supply of coffee and pastries.
OK, there are no sumptuous breakfasts or dinners but you are in the middle of a city with a plentiful supply of cafés and restaurants to suit all tastes and pockets.
The rooms and decor are superb. There is tea/coffee making facilities in the room and an added bonus of parking just down the street (an extra cost 25€/day)
Walking distance, even for us pensionistas, to Plaza De Catalunya, La Rambla and other tourist locations.

Fantastic boutique hotel with clean and modern room, helpful and friendly staff. The hotel is close to attractions like Plaza Catalunya, the main shopping street and Las Ramblas. Pastries and tea/coffee in the mornings in the lobby are also a nice touch!
