We were very happy with our choice of this hotel, got a rather good deal incl. flight booking very early.

We got there very earlier and paid additional for early check-in, as it was pouring outside.
Room was very spacious and modern, big bathroom with a lot of space for stuff.
We had a room to the "courtyard", we had the window open, as I don't like sleeping with the air con on, due to the "chimeylike" structure of the "courtyard" other people could be heard.
Nice roof terrace, but it was slightly chilly when we went up there.
We took for convience reasons the breakfast there, it was a good, nice selection.

Like the surrounding area, nice walk to the town center and very close to a great choice of restaurants and bars in Eixample.

At the moment there is a construction side next door, which you can hear in the room, during the week.

I would come back again.

Nice hotel about a 30 minute walk from the Rambles and main shopping area. Rooms where clean and comfortable but could do with better windows as there was a lot of outside noise. Staff very friendly and helpful but could do with more staff on reception as long ques for checking in and out. The roof top bar and pool was a nice extra
Brilliant city with something for every one

We randomly booked this hotel through a last-minute site when our cruise ship landed in Barcelona, figuring if we didn't care for it, we would move, but we were quite happy with our choice. While it's not in the heart of any of the touristy areas, it was centrally-located, not far from the metro, and easy to navigate from. I actually appreciated being in a more quiet neighborhood. The hotel was clean and the rooms had everything we needed. Although most nearby stores were closed over the Easter holiday weekend, we were within walking distance of the Sants train station which had what we needed. We were able to extend our stay from the third-party site at a very reasonable rate, and the late checkout is handy to arrange as well. We went to the rooftop bar once, and that was fine -- we didn't try any of the food with so many other available options. When I return to Barcelona (and I intend to!) I will seek this hotel out. I don't need to be in the hubbub of Las Ramblas and really enjoyed our quiet stay here.

2 night citybreak through BA holidays. A lovely chic hotel with a relaxed, classy vibe. Beautiful room and lovely friendly staff. Vast comfortable bed with spotless room and ensuite. Great little roof terrace with cushioned loungers, small plunge pool and bar. If travelling from the airport take a train to Barcelona Sants (€4.10 per adult) and walk about 7 mins down the hill to the hotel. Takes about 20 mins on the train and much cheaper and less stressful than a taxi! If flying into T1 there is a free shuttle bus to take you to T2B where the train station is situated. Yes there are building works going on next door but we used the hotel as a base and werent disturbed, don't be put off by this. Walked to Place de Cataluyna and Las Rambla in about 20mins slow walk and felt safe in the streers. Will definitely come back to Barcelona and will definitely use the Amister Art hotel again.

We had a late check in, around 8-9pm. The customer service was amazing and the staff were very accommodating!

The only downside was the room only had two beds for three guests so had to go back to reception to have an extra bed in the room or to be moved to another room. They worked incredibly fast and know exactly how to deal with their visitors/customers, came straight to our room with another fold (comfy) bed and also gave us the option to move to the superior room.

In general, I am very happy with the location but can be quite loud as it is close to the main road. The only irritating issue would be the people living above us made a lot of movements and constantly felt like people kept moving around the the room.

Room Tip: Very convenient to travel anywhere, bus stops are within 2-8 minute walk from the hotel at a very go...
