We LOVE this restaurant. We visited here on our first night and enjoyed it so much we ate here again. We got the burrata cheese appetizer, spring rolls and the pork with sweet potatoes. Everything was wonderful but we loved the burrata cheese so much that we got it again when we visited the second time. We also tried the potatoes (sauce is amazing), the octopus and the tuna. The mojitos were delicious, both the speciality and the original. If you want to have an early dinner you don't need a reservation but later in the evening you should plan ahead. Highly recommend this restaurant!!

We came here for my friends birthday, the food was incredible and the staff were so friendly. The value for money is amazing, not overpriced at all.

I highly recommend eating here whilst in Barcelona, i would book in advance as it books up quickly, we were very lucky to get a table.

The owners of this restaurant have obviously figured out how the TA ranking algorithm works, because there is no way this is the #4 restaurant by any measure. With that said, we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner, and would probably go back even though the food was just average. The blackberry mojitos (which all 3 of us ordered) were outstanding, and may be worth a return visit by itself.
Based on other reviews, we were lucky to get a reservation about a week in advance. We were there promptly at 6 with a line of people when they rolled up the steel grate, and the restaurant was filled in 5 minutes. We could hear the manager on the phone turning away disappointed diners all night. This was all in English BTW, which gets back to my original point about the power of a good TA review. Maybe the appeal is that you are excited to be part of the “in” crowd luck enough to get a reservation. It was hard to know how to rank this. Compared to some of the dives on Las Ramblas (only a 3 or 4 minute walk away) it is a 4-star restaurant. Compared to restaurants in the Eixample neighborhood, it is below average. In the end I had to give it an honest 'average' rating. The service was prompt and friendly, it was impressive what they could crank out of such a small kitchen, and the food was good but not memorable.

We didn't booked, but arrived at 7 and got a spot on the bar. Great fun as the maitre de gave us tastings of the different liquors that were served at the end of the meal. Food was fantastic from the ham to the prawn rolls and then thebeef cheeks.
We were moved to a table when it was available. A great energy from the staff and customers. A must in Barcelona!!!

The quality of the food was excellent - but small portions. The suckling pig was just three small cubes. Very tasty, but just not enough to satisfy. Everything seemed to be small (besides the size of the restaurant!) - my wife asked for just hot water, which came in a tiny little cup; the Americano coffee came in a tiny (Espresso size) cup - the smallest Americano that I have ever had. The waitresses seemed to have a problem understanding English (for example, my wife asked for a refill of hot water, and to leave the lemon in, don't take it away. It came back minus the lemon!!). However, we thoroughly enjoyed the food, despite the small portions. The bill was not small, though. The restaurant is so small that it traps the noise - so don't go for a relaxing evening.
