The first time we went to this restaurant they had stopped serving (it was a winter evening) and we were determined to go back at lunchtime because it had been highly recommended. On the second visit we were successful in eating, and what great food it was! We have since been back several times and the food is wonderful, the attentions of Jordi (who handles the front-of-house) are delightful, and the views are spectacular. During the week the restaurant is full of local workers, and the value for money of their set menu lunchtime is beyond imagination. At the weekends (especially in the summer) the village is packed out with visitors from the cities who are escaping the heat and crowds - you would need to book a table well in advance for Friday or Saturday. But its well worth the drive up the mountain road from Martinet - be sure you draw lots and determine who will be the designated driver before you set foot in the restaurant, because that mountain road is no easy return journey after a few drinks!
