We stopped in Stiges on our way from Barcelona to Laguardia around noon on a Sunday, we thought it would be nice to have lunch with a view of the sea. Pic Nic was conveniently located right across the street from the underground public parking garage. We checked the menu and it had a good variety of lunch items. We started out in the enclosed dining area facing the beach, with a nice window table, but the sun was shining right on us and it quickly became very hot, so we relocated to the shaded, street side area. It was much more pleasant and very enjoyable watching people and families walking along the promenade. My friend and I ordered a hamburger and a chicken sandwich to share, both came with lots of French fries. The hamburger was pretty good, but the chicken sandwich was the star! The bread it was served on was wonderful. My husband ordered the shrimp cocktail, which was an unexpected delight. More of a shrimp salad than what we expect a cocktail to be. It was the best dish ordered. My friend's husband was feeling a little under the weather and ordered the omelet sandwich, which hit the spot for wanting something simple and plain. Service was good and the food was delivered promptly.
