very nice place with pleasant people and very good food! I suggest sevillanos (anchovies from Cantabria) followed by pulpo a la brasa and/or paella marinera. Very good also the draft beer

This is a wonderful and charming restaurant with great food and service that give you great value and makes sure you leave with a smile - a local favourite. Great pinchos.....just off the main pedestrian walk in charming Sitges - don't miss it

I travel to Sitges fairly often and always drop by Lizarran for a quick snack. It's not the kind of place I would personally sit down for an elaborate meal off the menu, and I honestly don't think that that is it's purpose. Lizarran is perfect for a quick tapas snack while on to go, weather you are headed towards or coming back from the beach, or need a pick me up after one too many at happy hour. The quality of the tapas buffet, of course, varies depending on the time of day you are there. If you go during hours when the place isn't busy, you risk that the bread on the tapas has been out a bit too long and therefore will be dry, but one would hope you would be smart enough to understand that and visit either during lunch hours, early dinner or late dinner time when the kitchen is bringing out new, fresh and delicious treats.

We visited as a group of five and weren't expecting the world of the lunch menu but this was poor.
The paella was like a sour risotto with a few bits of seafood on top. There's no children's menu but our youngster didn't get far with his tortelloni which were almost cold.
The main course steaks all came out undercooked even though they were ordered by Spanish speakers. Even when sent back for further cooking they hardly improved.
Serving desserts in their plastic bowls is kind of an admission that you just bought frozen stuff in.
The service was just about ok and the portions weren't too small.
Overall this is worth avoiding.

A place which is always buzzing and jolly. Lovely tasty food. Inexpensive wine. Not to be missed. The staff are very attentive and welcoming.
