Granted it was a Monday evening when as invitees we visited this restaurant. The setting was OK and the free parking appreciated in touristy Sitges. The air conditioner during the heat wave did not work. The pleasant service, at least the South American girls, was quite good . The food was just plainly bad at a time when much of Spanish cuisine has gained a good reputation even at humble places. We traveled about 6000 miles around Spain this time, and this was, without hesitation the worse restaurant we ate, which may not be a completely fair assessment since we research the sites before making a reservation. This time we were invitees.
The Xato salad, a specialty of the region, was an imitation with an insipid romesco sauce flooding the escarole and short in cod while abundant in poor quality tuna. The recommended rabbit with snails was awful , with the rabbit insipid and obviously cooked several days ahead. We left untouched half of it. Not better was the grilled rabbit. Tough and insipid.
The prices are not low so this poor quality food was unexpected.
Not a place to recommend even for a quality lean summer in Sitges.

Lovely building, lovely terrace, really tasty food, and very reasonable.

8 euros a bottle of wine, 9 euros for chicken in garlic, 12 euros for lamb chops. It is very good food and at a very good price. A must if you can make the one km journey out to it.

Really friendly service too, and they speak English.

Food was OK except the two incidences of hairstraws in the food. Prices are absolutely reasonable. However the service was fairly lousy - definately below their usual standard.

i’ve been coming here for ages and actually realized i never left a review :-) great and welcoming place. Absolutely fantastic food. Some very traditional dishes from cataluna - you need to try them. Calcots, Atichokes perfectly cooked, garlic soup, traditional local salad (Xato), and mains you can’t find anywhere else like rabbit with snails, or sepia with meatballs. the Veal meat is superb, and the lamb is great . Decent wines for good prices. The staff is great - they have been here forever - and the owners too. Portions are very big so order a bit less than what you are used to - maybe 3 dishes for 4 people. Highly recommended, rustic food.

Staff really nice but unfortunately they cannot make up for the food quality . Over grilled artichoke, over sautéed and boiled vegetables. Wild boar awful sauce it came with couldn’t help it taste any better. Lamb extremely fatty. Hake was ok but as mentioned earlier accompanying vegetables spoilt it. Stick to the tomato bread and olives
