We chose the Hotel Herradura for its location. It is a short walk from here to the old part of Santiago de Compostela and the Cathedral. The hotel is small, but very comfortable. The rooms are also small with a compact bathroom but we chose it for its location. They have arrangements with a parking lot down the street for discounted parking with in-and-out privileges. A pretty good breakfast is served on site daily for a reasonable additional charge.

If you get the chance to stay here, do. The rooms are small, at least mine was, but very quaint. The wood shutters to block out the sun- fantastico. If you have a car be sure to tell them before hand and get your voucher before parking- this will save you time and effort. It's a great location, close to the park and old town. Kind staff and pleasant breakfast. Book today.

Service was very attentive. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Customer service was very good. English spoken. Nice breakfast. Good WiFi connection. Good recommendation for dinner. Would recommend if you want a quiet place to stay after walking the Camino

A very nice hotel to end up at after finishing the Camino Walk. The staff are so friendly and willing to help. It didn't matter if it was morning or night they were all great. About a 10 min. walk to the Cathedral. Lots of shopping and restaurants close by. About a 15 min. walk to the train station.
We used their laundry service. Just drop a bag of clothes at the desk. They send it out and that evening you get a nice package of clean folded clothes wrapped in brown paper.
Breakfast was very good. An amazing amount of food. A great place to stay in Santiago.

At the end of walking part of the Camino it was a delight to check in here. Large room with opening skylight, plenty of wardrobe space and room for suitcases, small desk and a nice bright and airy bathroom with plush towels.
The twin beds were comfortable, lovely soft linen and turned down for us each night.
The room was generally quiet apart from a bit of noise when a group checked in late at night.
The service was top class with all staff just quietly going about their business and responding to every request without fuss.
Breakfast was ample and delicious. We couldn’t finish it on either day. There was also fresh fruit for guests.
The hotel is centrally located in easy walking distance to the Catherdral, old town and shops.
The only drawback a very strange bath tub set up with the bath set into nook with the shower at one end. It was slippery getting into and out of and would not really be of use for bathing children as it was only accessible from the narrow end.
