Owner description: Wide, tree-lined avenue leading up to the world-famous Prado museum.
Reviewed 9 August 2017

This road is a continuation North of Colon of the Paseo del Prado and Paseo del Recoletos. It is very busy and aside from some lovely statues / fountains there is not much to see. It is busy and there is not much shade until you head South of Plaza de Colon when you pass some lovely buildings and the centre of the road becomes tree-lined.

Very long and wide boulevard with all sorts of sights along the way and lots of shade (useful in the summer). Bustling with life during daytime. Enjoyable walk overall.

My wife and I walked more than a kilometer along the Paseo de la Castellana, from the Ayuntamiento to the Paseo del General Martinez Campos. We enjoyed the walk very much. The avenue is very wide and there are many trees along its length.

The Paseo de la Castellana is a very long avenue and you can take a walk along it. The sidewalks are good and there are many trees along this avenue. So you can take a walk for a short time or a long time. It is very safe.

The Paseo de la Castellana is a long north south avenue lined by office buildings, banks and financial institutions fancy stores and restaurants, as well as hotels and impressive modern architecture. You'll almost certainly walk along parts of this wide thoroughfare as it includes the Paseo del Prado to the south There are a number of government ministries located in the Nuevos Minsterios complex and the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium is also a much visited site and revered by Spanish and international football (soccer) enthusiasts, especially fans of Real Madrid.
