the best thing about this hotel (it is the old Husa Chamartín) is its closeness to the train station. The problem is also the station. It is hard to get out of this hotel to have a decent dinner. You either eat in the hotel or in the station (where there is only low cost options and in the evening they close at about 10 pm).

The room I had was nice, recently renovated. My main criticism to it is the light. It was very dark, which made it even hard to pack not forgetting something. I could barely see. I had to leave the room towards 7.30 in the morning, and there was no natural light.

Booked this hotel as it was 4 star but were little disapointed, as it is quite worn. The is rather niosy as well and the breakfast buffet very busy, so not the same charme as many other hotels in madrid. The hotel is close to the train station but the area little boring.

This very large hotel offers huge meeting areas and eating places. The lobby is vast and allows you to have good meeting places. Rooms are good size with good views from one side of the hotel. Ideal for large parties or business meetings in my opinion. There is a train station right next to the hotel which is very handy for commuters and travellers.

We flew in to Madrid and had no problem getting to this Hotel by means of public transport - the service was friendly and efficient. An added bonus is that its close to the train station and underground so no problem getting around Madrid to see the sites. Room was spacious, clean and nice firm mattress on the bed - no complaints and recommended

Had a long weekend in Madrid with my son watching Real. Hotel is well situated with transport links excellent. Both metro and main line both within walking distance of the hotel and opens up all Madrid and also only 12 minutes from the airport. Hotel was very comfortable, rooms spacious, clean and modern decor. Reception very helpful for any info and all spoke good English. Bar was open late each night we were there and staff very friendly. Overall a great weekend and a great base for us in Madrid.
