This is a small place, 2 blocks more o less to the "Atocha Train Station" right at the heart of Madrid. The atmosphere has certain charm, like it came from the past. If you decide to enter, can not miss the so called Bocata de Calamares, spanish for fried squid sandwich, which must be eaten with a beer (a "caña") or if you prefer with a coke. Bear in mind that this is a noisy place, not because of the clients, but due to the fact that the people that works in there, yields and shouts between each other. Maybe they are deaf, but I do not know for sure.
