We found this lovely restaurant by accident not long after we arrived at the nearby Silken Puerto America hotel. We were four with almost no Spanish between us but the waiting staff made us feel very welcome. The menu was very long so we opted for the fixed menu on Page 1 - it was fabulous and such variety, especially when we were fitted with disposable bids. We had no idea what was about to happen and then discovered calçot. First, the fire-blackened outer layer of the onion is pulled away to reveal a juicy white core. Then the tip is dipped into romesco (nut and red pepper) sauce and the dripping calçot is lowered into the mouth in one go. Quite messy, great fun, super tasty - we ate the lot. Wine was excellent and the price was very affordable. Highly recommended.

I am not a negative person and I am not the kind writing reviews but after this bad evening i felt i had to! It was my first time eating calcots and thanks to Jorge this Will be the last. The food was just terrible and overpriced!!! I suggest to go to other better place! You"ll feel better launching 40 bucks to any of the great singers around this beautifull city.

We had over a dozen having a group dinner. We had a family style communal dinner.
It was one of the most fun dinners we had together.

Cava in Porrón, fuet and sausages, grilled vegetables, Calçots, Romasco sauce, snails, grilled meats, crême brûlee, cava and limoncello, orujo. What a fun evening.

Service was great. We stayed at the restaurant until past 1 AM. They were there to serve us.

Thanks for the chef and everyone at the restaurant.

We cannot say that the food we ate was bad; however, even if we didn't get anything "typical" and definitely not difficult to cook (jamon iberico for starter + steak + sirloin) the quality was on average... Moreover I didn't like the waiter taking away the wine bottle from the table after serving the wine... It's not matter of trust, but I like to see the bottle on the table! Moreover, it is definitely overpriced considering the food it offers. At least the staff is very friendly and knows how to attend customers.

I had excellent sausage, and the other party went for pepper steak (which was BTW perfect medium), here. The food was excellent, but the service was exceptional. The friendly waiter wasted no efforts joining together tables, filling wine glasses immediately they were emptied (we even tested this), and the manager probably Jorge himself came for a complementary visit.
