the guy at the reception was friendly until I came up with my complain, he did not think about doing something that his guests will feel better, he just said: this are the rules! The hotel was modern and clean, but the room was small and smelly.More

Was very pleasantly surprised by this modern hotel. The rooms had a separate lounge area and were very clean.
The reception area was very stylish and we had a very pleasant and reasonable meal. Thought it amazing value.

Stayed here for one night as we were traveling north in Spain. The hotel itself was not too bad, the lobby and bar was nice and the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were basic and a bit dated but it was clean and had lots of beds and a decent shower.
The parking on the other hand was awful! It was 12 euros per night underneath the hotel but the problem was the car park itself. Getting in and out of spaces was a nightmare. You could see the scrape marks where people have tried to get out of the very tight and steep exit ramp and round corners where there were further ramps you could not see, which led to various levels. Park on the street if possible!

Lovely 3 star hotel. Spotlessly clean, friendly staff, stylish design, good breakfast, good shower, GREAT FREE WIFI. Very quiet in the room, considering there was a party on the ground floor the first night! Even the air-con was very quiet but efficient. It was an easy stroll into the centre of Castellon (5 minutes) for Tapas and a quiet drink. Contemporary, comfortable, convenient.

This hotel has a very good location in the little town of Castellon. It is not terribly fancy, but it is comfortable and comes at a very good price. It is at walking distance from everything in the old town, so compared to other places in the area, it is a good choice for a short stay.

I was staying in the Hotel Luz (the sister property) but had to extend for an additional night. Unfortunately, the Hotel did not have availability, so I booked the Hotel Jaime I. The hotel is rundown, tired and need of repair. Unfortunately this seems to pass to the staff who are equally despondent. The rooms are quarter of the size of the Luz and have no amenities such as water, room safes and quality bedding. Fortunately, the room was clean.
