stayed here from the 11 June on an all inclusive holiday for 10 nights with a party of 8 adults and 1 child, check in took forever as they said we haven't got the correct hotel voucher after some time explaining that the hotel voucher was the correct one as it stated on the voucher all the names of the party and in capital letters HOTEL VOUCHER we eventually got our rooms, the rooms were clean quite spacious, the fridge wasn't working but after 12 hours it was replaced.The pool area is terrible as it's under cover, no sunbathing unless you go up on the roof, children's pool is on the 5th floor away from everyone, the hotel bar is dark and dismal, hardly any outdoor seating 6 tables and chairs,2 restaurants 1 English and 1 Spanish, entertainment for the English is in the Magic Cafe around the back of the hotel Spanish entertainment is in a bright and airy room next to the dark and dismal bar, if you are Spanish then this hotel is great unfortunately for us we felt like we were being segregated, would we stop here again NO

Hen do.
June 2017.
We booked the sister apartments to stay in but booked all inclusive so we were under the responsibility and had the facilities of this hotel.

The hotel is a very old looking Spanish home. Guests were 90% Spanish 10% English people. Language barrier is dreadful. Barely anybody spoke any English. Food was pitiful, with little English choice. The pool is horrible. Roof top pool- under cover (so no sun) and just dirty. I was in and out within 60 seconds. Tiny jacuzzi which didn't even work. And pitiful places to sunbathe. We ate out a lot and spent most our time down at the beach. A waste of being all inclusive.

Now, regarding the theft, this was in the apartment, we weren't actually broke in to, one of us had €170 taken from a handbag at the same time the maid was cleaning. All of us searched the whole apartment top to bottom after but the member of our party that it happened to, was adamant that she left the money on show in a side pocket in her bag, under the bed, when she returned to her room, the bed was made, the bag was moved and all notes were taken from her bag, including English.
We complained to the hotel reception and there response was pitiful.
We couldn't speak to the manager because he was 'eating'.
Two receptionists were rude as hell and blatantly ignored our request to speak to somebody.
They were no help.
No apology.
No sympathy.
They even insinuated that we were making it up!!
We were offered no help, just told to "phone the police".
So, unfortunately to say, the maid got a good handful of cash that day and got away with it.
PLEASE BE CAREFUL.
The hotel are absolutely pathetic and it ruined the last day of our Holliday!

Also we appreciate the good comments, specially about the excellent location in the city centre and the possibility to use all the services in the Cristal Park Hotel.

In the first place, it is possible to say that the client appeared in reception at the wee hours of the morning alluding to having suffered theft of personal effects (170 €) in her room without being deposited in the safe. Therefore, and following our procedures, the client was urged to submit the corresponding complaint to the police without ever having knowledge of it so far

Just got back and I was apprehensive after booking the hotel , I had no need to worry . From Charlie the entertainments guy to the rest of the team we had a great week, food was better then I expected and the whole hotel was very good no complaints from us . Thank you to everyone who made our week a memorable one . Keep up the good work . Only grumble is with all the positive notes the prices may start to creep up DAMN. ! Lol .

No lock on bath room door

Entertainment not a lot of good

No balcony

No outside pool

Food is nice

Lifts no good

Not a lot of plug sockets only two in a room

Cards cut out if put by phones

Very loud walls are fin can here outside and traffic loud music early in the morning

Shuttle bus not often every two hours finishes to early

My recent trip back to Benidorm was a late package booking, I explained to the on line travel agent that I prefer the Levante Beach area of Benidorm, in the end I went ahead with booking this hotel and return flights from Manchester.

It turned out the the Cristal Park is located in the old town, and about 500 meters from the Old town end of Levante Beach.

Regular visitors to Benidorm will know that the Old Town is predominantly very Spanish whilst the Rincon de Loix district is mainly touristy., and this is where I usually try to book into.

So I arrived at the Cristal Park about 10pms, and there was a an English group at reception sorting out their finances to the hotel, and both reception staff were involved, and it took several minutes for one of them to realise that there were other people queuing to be seen to at the reception desk, so first impressions were not too good, as well as realising that the hotel was located centrally in the old town area.

I was allocated a single room on the 2nd floor,it was ample simply decorated with the usual mod cons, e xcept the in room telephone didnt exist and the fridge was from a past century and disconnected.

There was ample storage space and I had an in room safe, at a cost of 15 euros for the week, after a refund of 15 euros deposit.

There wasnt any balcony something I prefer to enjoy, and through the window I was faced with a hugh wall with naked double life size man and woman murals.

There are actually 4 service lifts which was practical for the 7 floor hotel.

The long corridors to the rooms looked bright and as if theyve been refurbished, but are on various levels with sections of steps, and the room itself had obviously been refurbished including the bathroom, which had a modern over bath shower. there was an over bath retractable double clothes line, but no hairdryer. or extractor fan systems.

The room had flat screen TV, Air con, but no hot drinks facilities as was stated in the brochures.

After complalnt to receptiona new fridge and telephone was installed the very next day.

After all this I found the reception staff very polite and helpful during my stay.

I was on a B&B deal and the buffet breakfast did serve a variety of fayre, but mainly for the overwhelmingly Spanish majority, and yes you do miss the usual touristy friendliness in such a Spanish dominated place,

LIke said the hotel is located in the old town but almost in a downward sloping straight line of streets after about 500 meters you do arrive at the town end of Levante beach.

Must say that there is a far more sense of atmosphere in the old town area at anytime of day especially late afternoon onward when when many of the pedestrianised thorough fares have are lined with French style central pavement tables and chairs for the various cafe and restaurant outlets,, and usually afternoon onward these are usually heaving with mainly the Spanish and more so into the evening where even old side streets have the same buzz and atmosphere, and when I wnt over to the Rincon de Loix side on some evening the contrast was stark, seemed quite lifeless compared.. so I was happy that for once I had actually stayed in the old town side of Benidorm, and will bear that in mind for future visits.

I also used the number 10 bus service more than usual, and this costs 15 euros for any length of journey along its route.

It cost around 8 euros by taxi each way to make the same trip.

The famous strip is a fair walk from this part of town and again the no 10 bus route is ideal to drop off close by to this huge entertainment district.

Regular visitors to Benidorm will know the variety it offers and is famous for, Im just a happy beach bum so my day time routine is the very lazy beach style of life, sunbeds and parasols cost 450 euros each irrespective what time you arrive to use them and in any case the beach staff start packing away loungers etc around 5 pm onwards.

So although the hotel was sorrounded by typical Spanish streets alleys, shops, and multi storey flat dwellings, and on a main artery road junction, and had a dated appearance in the end I got used to all of that on my daily stroll to the beach and back again, and enjoyed the buzz and atmosphere of the old town area despite it being absolutely so very Spanish, especially into the evenings... a really good atmosphere was everywhere.

The hotel has typical booking in and out times, I tried to bag a deal to keep my room for a late departure but didnt get that, however they made available a courtesy room to change and shower in before starting my journey back to the airport, this was at no extra cost as the luggage was stored in a locked and secured holding room, this was very practical for sure.

The hotel has an daily entertainment programme for the Spanish and also for other tourists.

There is free wifi in the hotel and rooms, also there are three pre pay internet desks at around 1 euro for 20 minutes, but all of the control panels had essential keys missing so were pretty useless.
Apparently there is an indoor pool on the 7th floor.

Im not sure if I will want to return to the Magic Cristal Park hotel again, overall it was a typical 3 star deal, and after my complaints being sorted it was a pleasant stay over all, however
I will make sure that my next trip has the benefit of a balcony
at least.

Room Tip: make sure you have a balcony, and all the room facilities that are listed in the brochure before you book.
