“Good Hotel”

Well worth stopping in the Hotel Benidorm Centre, good food, rooms cleaned daily, friendly staff from the reception to the cleaning staff, Wi fi access if required, tv room, and if you want to pamper yourself a hairdressers on the first floor of a gym on the top. Close to the main beach which is very clean, handy for both the old and new areas. I have stopped her twice now and if I ever decided to go back then I would book into Benidorm Centre again

Room Tip: all room are the same for couples or family rooms are available, all room are quiet

Once again an excellent holiday at Benidorm Centre. Staff are excellent. Food plenty of it. They is always something there to eat. The fish is fantanstic. The spare ribs are to dead for. I do know why people complain about this hotel. We have stayed there 5 times this year and always happy with it. The hotel is near the beach and the Old Town.We are there again in 5 wks time/

Room Tip: love the hotel

Had a family holiday at this hotel, 2 adults and 2 kids and overall we had a good time. The hotel is advertised as a 4 star but it is more like a 3 star, the rooms are basic, the AC was very poor, the pool area is small, the food was ok and the entertainment was non existant. There are very few British at this hotel and it tends to cater for the Spanish market which is reflected in the food on offer. The pool area didn't really seem to be very busy during the day even though it was high season but it got really busy between 4pm - 6pm when the Spanish would come back from the beach. The hotel is located near some good restaurants which was a good thing as we didn't fancy eating in the hotel every night. The beach is a short walk away and the Old Town is close too but we found the walk into the heart of the New Town a bit much with two kids. There is another Spanish hotel situated directly across the road from this one and they have a guy singing there a few nights per week at the pool area who sounds just like a Spanish version of the go compare adverts and he sings until 12am - 1am which got very annoying with the kids trying to sleep. Neptunes bar next door to the hotel is handy for lunch and a cold beer.

I travelled with my elderly parents and two daughters. We walked through the doors of what we thought was a 4 star hotel, the reception was clean and the staff were friendly. Our room was on the 7th floor facing the road, it was spacious, tidy, but felt 20 years old, in the bathroom, they had for some reason built a wall in front of the toilet, so you had to sit on the toilet sideways, as you can see from the photo, there was also a wall built three quarters of the way along the length of the bath, so you had to get into the bath to turn the taps on. The balcony was spacious, but had no table, just 2 chairs, it was painted blue with rust coming through all over the place. The dining room, was basic to say the least, the hotel did not cater for the english, my mother did not eat anything in the hotel, I've been to Benidorm 15-20 times and i can honestly say, this is the only hotel i've checked out of after 1 night, in fact it was 1 night too long. It was worse than some of the 2 star hotels i've stayed in in the past. We went over the road and checked into a hotel called the Diplomatic, a real 4 star hotel. There is plenty of nice hotels in benidorm, the benidorm centre is not one of them, do yourself a favour, book somewhere else.

Location good we were on the 9th floor so had a good sea view. room basic but clean, bathroom tight fit dont know how tall or overweight people manage to use the toilet as it was a very tight squeeze getting in there, very dim lights, although plenty of hot water and clean towels everyday. The food was terrible, little choice and poorly cooked, canned veg, fresh veg was crucified, main choice of meats was of poor quality, sweet choice diabolical.overall terrible.
the staff were friendly, polite and very helpful.
will not go there again!

Room Tip: if you go here get a room south facing above the 5th floor to get a view

Just returned from first time in Benidorm and a stay at Benidorm Centre Hotel. We were given a double room though we had booked a twin, the room smelled like a build up of 20 years of cigarettes. We asked to move to a twin room and got one with no problem, a little smaller but it didn't smell of smoke. We had 5 nights and found rooms clean and confortable though a little aged. Staff were all very friendly and pleasant. We were half board but we asked if we could swap evening meal to lunch on two days as we were going out on two evenings. This was no problem at all. Food was ok appart from soup and puddings, weird stuff! We thought the location of the hotel was excellent for our needs. The pool was fine though as we did not go in the main summer season and the hotel was 95% pensioners, we think maybe it would soon be crowded if there was a different clientelle. All in all, no complaints about the hotel and staff. However, as first timers to Benidorm we didn't know what to expect but were dreading the stag and hen parties that we imagined and the Blackpool type tackiness. We were pleasantly surprised that it wasn't as tacky as expected though in our late fourties, we were virtually the youngest people there! The place is heaven for pensioners and disabled people. There were mobility scooters everywhere! It is virtually flat and entertainment was geared up for their enjoyment. Beach was lovely and clean but the bars were virtually all empty. We only found two which were full and some of the entertainment was naff - very working mens clubish! We won't be going again to Benidorm but can recommend it for the over 60's.
