Visited the Mediterraneo in March 2018 and found the hotel very clean and looks quite new. Rooms are fairly basic but roomy. I found it weird the way the hotel operated the all inclusive you got cards for each member of your group and every time you wanted a drink you handed the card over so they could swipe the till before they handed the cards back. The hotel was a long way away from all the main bars in the centre, although some good bars around like the Rockn Roll bar, the red lion & Sinatra’s. The food was ample but nothing exciting pretty bland really but you get what you pay for. I would say this place is a 3 star and not a 4 star. Would I go back to Benidorm yes but not to the Mediterraneo.

First impression good two story hotel, rooms big included a fridge. Disappointed the safe was a €2.50 a day charge. Overall though the staff apart from about two were miserable.

The all inclusive is frustrating as you need to carry a card around and if you lose it it’s €5 to replace. So going to the bar you can only get one drink per card, and open to easily misplacing it.

The food, quality and taste is very good Fresh cooked steak, sea bass etc but the general buffet is poor one evening there was 5 plates of hot dishes 3 were veg : boiled potatoes, sprouts and mixed veg. Which means if you don’t eat a particular meat or don’t like a type of sauce you can find you options limited.

Few final comments as the hotel does half, full and all inc there is no self service on anything so it’s all queuing for the bar. Couple of times the queue at the bar was 10 deep with one staff on. I assume over peak periods there will be more staff. The evening entertainment is none existent and their was no children entertainment during this period.

Stayed here early March and found hotel was spotlessly clean , staff friendly and helpful .
Food especially breakfast was perfect , with full English , continental and many other options available , there will always be something to take your fancy .
Didn't use outdoor pool as too cool in March , but area looked really good and well maintained with a new pool bar being built ready for the summer . Drinks prices in bar aren't too expensive which came as a surprise .
Would we go back ?, Definitely !.

Stayed here for a girls holiday, clean hotel nice rooms however no air con as they classed March as there winter. Food wasn’t up to much never very hot. Limited selection also not allowed to take drinks from the bar to the restaurant and limited drink selection in the restaurant. Overall average stay just somewhere to put your head

Our first trip to Benidorm we chose this hotel as had been recommended to us did not disappoint friendly staff lovely clean and spacious rooms and public areas food we found to be a good standard for all inc. great location far enough away from the busy bars but close enough to walk wouldn't hesitate to come back to this hotel.
