My husband and I rented the apartment for our stay in Valencia in November and we couldn’t have made a better choice. The apartment was incredibly clean and charming and, despite its location in the heart of Redonda Plaza, quiet at night. The location was very convenient to exploring Valencia; everything was an easy walk away and there are so many great restaurants and cafes nearby. Ana was very helpful when booking and has really thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. We hope to visit again!
We stayed three nights in this lovely apartment and were thrilled with our choice. Ana has thought of every detail to make a stay comfortable. Her father gave us a warm welcome and explained all the details....& carried my suitcase up the several flights of stairs! The three balconies and another big window allow in lots of lights and make people watching easy. The apartment is on a busy plaza but is very quiet at night. The bathroom is small but there was lots of hot water. Ana not only had a book covering all the tourist sites in the area but also covered all the workings of everything in the apartment. The kitchen was exceptionally well-stocked with cooking utensils and also basic food needs such as spices, oils, drinks. A great spot for a short-term or long-term stay with restaurants right outside the door and the Central Market a block away. Emails and requests were quickly handled. Thanks for a great stay, Ana!
(Be aware there are several flights of stairs.) Highly recommended.
What a fantastic apartment! Bright, modern and at the centre of everything. Ana has made these apartments a home-from-home and provided all the necessities and then some, the only thing we needed to bring was hair conditioner. Lots of sights and bars, restaurants etc. are all within a 10 walk of the apartment, including the railway station/metro. Buses to the rest of the city depart from Plaza de la Reina, just around the corner, it couldn't have been better positioned and is perfect for watching the world go by. The only 'negative' is that there are quite a number of steps as there is no lift. We'll definitely be back.
Have just returned from a 5 day break staying at the Charming Loft apartments.
Location is perfect, a 10 minute walk from the main station . It overlooks a small square with a few bars and restaurants along with an old church next door and all the main sights such as the cathedral/central market are only a 5 min walk away. It`s perfect for sightseeing the old part of Valencia and to wander the little backstreets trying to work out where you are.
As other reviewers have said, the apartment itself has everything you will need for a stay in Valencia and has been well thought out in terms of what is provided to make you feel at home. It`s clean and furnished to a high standard, we were particularly impressed with the comfy bed and memory foam pillows. A proper hairdryer is provided, so you don`t need to take your own, along with numerous other useful things ie sewing kit, games, beach towels.
There is plenty of room and lots of natural light in the main room along with a small balcony to sit overlooking the square. Even though it`s in a busy part of town we didn`t have any problems with noise at night, once the shutters are closed its perfectly quiet.
We found the instruction booklet provided really useful, not only explaining how the appliances work but also local info ie supermarkets, bus stops etc.
I found Ana very quick to reply to any queries we had re our booking, and we were met by her father Juan, who greeted us warmly after several delays to our journey. The complimentary bottle of wine was greatly appreciated!
All in all, the perfect holiday apartment.
Owner's father was great on arrival. Just make sure that you go to the correct address as advised by the owner - it is on plaza Lope de Vega, not the Plaza Redonda. Very well appointed, great A/C, induction hob, complimentary wine on arrival (excellent) and water in fridge. Owner had even bought ear plugs as it was the last night of the festival. Tons of great restaurants around the old town and a great Pintxos bar outside the door. One thing to be aware of if you are intending to cook - there are very few supermarkets in Valencia old town. Corte Ingles has brilliant food though and is 10 mins walk away in shopping district. Great holiday and wouldn't consider staying anywhere else when we come back. Trains, metro, buses and taxis all close by. Train service to Alicante is cheap, fast, on time, spacious (where is everybody?) and very comfortable - puts the UK to shame. We will be back. Great place for sightseeing, foodies and particularly photography.
Beautiful flat – very well appointed with everything you’d need - right in the heart of things. Great location just a short walk from the metro station. As well as enjoying all the old town attractions on the doorstep, it was easy to get local buses to the beach, City of Arts & Sciences and the Albufera natural park.
Being there in summer we particularly appreciated the air conditioning in the flat, the balconies and the excellent roof terrace – which has been very well thought out and is ideal whether you want to have a drink, relax or sunbathe.
Everything had been thought of in the flat – eg having a dryer built into the washer was a great bonus (and very useful after someone spilt a drink on us on our last day!).
The hospitality of the owners was excellent – we had a very warm and friendly welcome and a superspeedy response to a query. We look forward to our next visit!
