I have absolutely loved cycling and walking through every area of Turia park
Every city should have such open areas for people to enjoy - it so well connects the main areas of the city without going near road areas ! There is something for everyone of all ages !
I will definitely come to Valencia again due to the excellent way Turia parks connects the city

We walked to the Aquarium from the city centre and enjoyed the changing views from the safety of a car free zone, although we did have to look out for bikes and joggers!

Walked from the middle to the Arts & Science centre & back again and another day all the way down to Oceanagraphic. Really lovely open space with kids stuff, green areas, cafes, running tracks & all manner of interesting bits to look at. Filled with beautiful trees (many oranges) & just really peaceful. Nice to walk under the bridges too, just amazing to think it was once a river!

They call this place as a river, Turia river. I think it was once a river but now this is a nice a comfortable walking and ride course. In this place, they have a excellent children park with huge ‘Gulliver’ theme slide. Fountains, bicycle riding, children’s park, etc.

If time permits take a walk along this park. Keep in mind that it was created by diverting a river to stop flooding in Valencia. A brilliant way to keep people safe and a ingenious way to create a lovely public space
