This industrial looking hotel is just minutes from the Naples International Airport.
Driving from Positano to this hotel in Naples was quite and experience where traffic rules are merely suggestions. The hotel is located in a not so nice looking neighborhood full of gang graffiti, run down shops, lots of litter but is located conveniently next to the rental car parking areas for the Naples International Airport.
The hotel was clean and the rooms fairly large with modern bathrooms. Coffee and breads are available 24 hours per day. Beds were comfortable and there is an outdoor pool with a lounge area behind the main hotel complex. There is a restaurant associated with this hotel but we did not patronize it. The staff was not overly friendly but they were helpful when we asked for assistance. Interesting thing about Naples is the taxi rates. We took a taxi from the hotel near the airport to the city center for 14 euros. The trip back to the hotel was a flat rate of 18 euros. Since we were traveling with multiple large luggage bags and needed to get to the airport at 4:00 AM, we requested a taxi. The quoted price from the hotel was 14 euros to drive the 5 minute trip. We loaded our bags, got to the airport and the taxi meter read 10.50 euros. I started to pay the driver and he told me that it was $20 euros because it was a "special price" due to our heavy luggage. I told him we were told 14 euros and he angrily demanded 20 euros, which I paid him. Just a warning to anyone using taxis in Naples, get the rate from the driver before you get into the cab. The area of this hotel is not a place I would be comfortable walking in the dark but is ok for those early morning departures.

We were coming in from Positano and had to catch a 6AM flight, so the proximity to the airport was great! From the front of the hotel, it was a scary looking area. Not someplace you want to walk around and explore. However, it was a quick 5 minute walk to the airport and if you went out the back of the hotel is was a well lit, secure walkway and could not have been more convenient.

The rooms were fine - small but clean. Best shower I had in all of Italy. We left before breakfast started but they had some crescent rolls and a coffee/cappuccino/hot chocolate machine in the lobby that they gave us - however, there seemed to be some confusion the rest of the time if there was a charge to use the machine or if it was free. There was no sign posted. My husband and I got some coco and took it to the room but when our friends went down to get some they charged them 2 euro each. When I asked the front desk there was some uncertainty about it but decided that they would charge. It all seemed silly. Considering this is supposed to be a 4 star hotel (not sure how they got that rating) it seems like it would be a nice amenity to allow the customers to have free access to the machine.

The staff was not the usual friendly Italians we had encountered at all our other hotels. The woman that checked us in seemed annoyed that we were bothering her. The 2 girls in the afternoon were more pleasant. The night shift man nice enough at 4AM.

Room Tip: As for room at the back of the hotel.

This is the hotel most convenient to the Naples airport. HOWEVER, it is in a terrible neighborhood and is a very strange hotel. It is surrounded in the back by barbed wire and a high fence and one must, for some rooms, walk outside through the back in order to reach the rooms. the front desk staff was rude and unfriendly. Rooms were very clean but we would not stay there again. Better to stay in a good hotel in Naples and get up an hour earlier to take a taxi to the airport, than to stay in this very strange, forbidding hotel.

If you don't mind hoofing it from the hotel to the airport, this may be just the place. Certainly, one would not stay here for any other reason than its convenient location, especially, for an early morning flight. The hotel, itself, is an odd compound-like structure, probably impenetrable given the questionable neighborhood. One gets a sense that bad things happen in this part of town. That aside, our rooms were clean, but dark with no attempt at decor, and the front desk personnel were less than hospitable. (The average rating is generous but location, location, location trumps the criticism.)

Our family of 5 stayed in 2 rooms in august during the "Lucifer" heatwave. The air conditioning was very appreciated. The beds were comfy enough, the rooms were large and had everything we needed. The staff were plesant. We didnt eat in the restaurant as it didnt open until 8pm and seemed expensive. We walked 5 mins to MMP restaurant, and would highly recommend the pizza and fries for about 6€. The pool looked nice but opens 9am-7pm, so we didnt try it out. The walk to the airport was 10 mins with luggage and children. Probably 5 mins for a fit healthy solo adult. We did it in extreme heat and it wasnt a problem. There was some noise from the airport as you would expect, but it wasnt debilitating. The breakfast was nice, european style. Perfect for eat and go!. This is an ideal hotel for people in transit. I wouldnt hesitate to stay again, if travelling through Naples.
