This is a charming B&B with lovely rooms and a delightful room terrace where you can have your excellent breakfast of good coffee and croissant. Salvatore is a very welcoming host and makes staying here a very pleasant experience. The location is very convenient for the station and for the excavations-via the amphitheatre gate. The only downside is that the street noise starts early and is very loud - take ear plugs with you or ask for a room on the back.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the back

B&B Dolce Vita. What a great place to stay when in Pompei! Finding it is super-easy—just turn left out of the train station, walk around the corner and there you are, right on the doorstep of your home sweet home, Italian style. Host Salvatore is attentive, genuinely hospitable, and as much a guide and mentor to visitors as he is hotelier.

We spent three nights at B&B Dolce Vita in March 2014 and can sincerely recommend it to any traveler looking for clean, comfortable, convenient, and reasonably-priced accommodations while visiting Pompei. The rooms are generously sized, the beds are first rate, and the location ultra-convenient to the station, restaurants, the Marian shrine, and the ruins. The balcony is fun and any worries about noise are unfounded; the street below us became quiet as a church around 10:00 every night. There is no need to look elsewhere; B&B Dolce Vita is the perfect accommodation while in Pompei.

Room Tip: Tip 1) Don't be afraid of the street side. It is enjoyably lively by day, yet soundless at night. Tip 2) If Salvatore offers you a cup of his cappuccino, say YES!

B&B Dolcevita is run by a very helpful and friendly man named Salvatore and he is willing to go the extra mile to help in any way in serving and giving directions. The bed was super comfortable and the room really spacious. The location was also perfect, close to the train station, shops, restaurants and only about 5-7 minute walk to the ruins. The price was great too! Perfect place to stay in Pompei!

What a great place!!!! from our first impression of a closed rather dodgy looking premises we were amazed to find it run by the most helpful individuals we have ever met- their welcome was fantastic-nothing was too much trouble. They made coffee whilst explaining the benefits of visiting Pompei- seeing our tired worn expression of all the travel form the day before. They were helpful- kind and understanding despite our lack of knowledge of each others language.
They gave us everything we needed to know. Very clean- everything basic but all we could ask for. We loved the B & B- could not have made a better choice- and excellent value for money.
All so close to the sites of Pompei- parking great and safe as well.
Salvatore and his partner are wonderful- I can infuse no more wonderful wonderful wonderfull !!!!!
We would recommend to anyone,

Room Tip: no tips needed - all good- owners are only aware of wanting to give you the vest experience

A small family owned B&B. Comfortable and interesting rooms, each decorated with a different theme. Salvatore is very friendly and helpful and was able to give us directions as well as train details and places to eat. Breakfast was good and we were able to eat it on the roof terrace. Good location for the Pompeii ruins, the Cathedral, and the train station to Herculanium. Hope to visit Pompeii again and will definately stay here.

Room Tip: All rooms are comfortable. There are only 4 rooms, one is a family room, one a triple and 2 double. Room at the front overlooking the road has a balcony.
