We stayed at Roman Mansion for three nights and spent a wonderful three days in Pompei. The hosts are brilliant and nothing is too much trouble for them to make your stay as perfect as possible.
The annexe is well appointed and the garden lovely with everything clean and tidy. We had breakfast outside under the canopy at the large round table.
Our two pets (cat and dog) were made very welcome and loved the enclosed garden.
The walk to the ruins took about 10 minutes and every first Sunday in the month the entrance fee is waived. Lots of restaurants, bars and cafes also close by, all in all a perfect place to stay whilst in Pompei.
We will likely go back again.

I stayed here with my boyfriend early July this year (2014) for a few nights and it was just perfect.
The annex is a great size and very clean. The family are very friendly and so helpful, everything was there for us when we arrived and all we had to do was buy any food we wanted for breakfast - saying that there was a granita machine in our kitchen for us making fresh vanilla ice cream everyday! GNAM!
The garden at the house was covered in traditional Italian tiling and pretty flowers and was great for sitting and relaxing in on the sun loungers provided.
While we were there it was very sunny and hot and we often had a quick dip in the plunge pool, great to use after a day exploring the little City!
The location could not have been better, we even walked to the ruins (10mins) and we were a 3 minute walk from the main square with bars, restaurants and shops. In the main square is a big beautiful church which you can visit and walk inside to see the amazing 'Shrine of the the Virgin of the Rosary of Pompeii' and also the stunning paintings on the ceilings and walls (be respectful ladies and cover your shoulders and legs though!)
Pompeii itself is beautiful, the annex is an easy 25min drive from the Almalfi coast and we used the smart car given to us by Catello to drive around and see the wonderful sights and the coastal drive.
There is also a shopping centre 5 min drive away from the annex so if you're like me and you forget some holiday essentials then fear not! (It also has some great bikini shops ladies!!)
Like I said though, everything is in easy reach!!
All in all a wonderful relaxing holiday and the perfect traditional Italian and very ideal place to stay! Thank you Roman Mansion!! :)
So nice place with a private parking, wifi, swimpool, big terrasse, solarium, barbecue, climatisation, kitchen, all is very clean... and the most important so friendly welcoming of Lello and Rosaria :-) !!! They give all the good tips for visiting and eating.
A perfect location between the bay of Naples and the Amalfi Coast, 10min walk to the ruins of Pompeii. The street is super quiet and is 5min walk from the center of Pompei, its beautiful center with the beautiful Basilica and the evening atmosphere ensured with Italian restaurants, gelaterie. Grazie a Lello, Rosaria e Luigi
