Great Location!

Only a 10 minutes walking to Vatican, this bed and breakfast is located on a residential neighborhood on a charming building.
The door man was very helpful and friendly. Ciara the administrator was also very nice.
The apt. is very simple, but clean. Beds are comfortable. Hot water can be an issue depending on the time of the day. It runs out quickly.
Breakfast is do yourself type, very frugal. But if all you care is for a good cup of coffee, there is a good espresso machine in the kitchen, which is shared for all the 3 rooms in the apt.
Baths are individuals to each room.
Great place if all you need is a good night of sleep on a central location.
I recommend!

My Brother and I made our first ever visit to Europe with our inital stop in Rome. Arches B and B was perfect for our first two nights. The location was perfect. It has all you can want and need from gelati to a nearby farmacia and delicious osteria at the corner of the block. After several delayed flights the porter worked with us to ensure we were picked up at the airport and taken to Arches. He even waited for us an extra hour because my luggage was lost. Once there, we were greeted by Paulo who gave us a tour along with helpful tips regarding the surrounding area and he answered questions we had with a smile.

In the fridge, are provided juice butter milk and yogurt. There is also a pantry stocked with bread. For communal use, you have fruits along with coffee, tea and an espresso machine. I also was able to use the communal computer to take care of logistics for the remainder of my trip. Also, Paulo and Fabio assisted me in calling the airport to retreive my lost luggage.

I would stay here again in a second!

Ciao!

We could only stay one night but we hated to leave this place. If you get a chance you should stay at Arches, not just because it's in a great location in Rome but because they've developed a place that is so friendly to tired travelers. It's more like staying with a friend than a hotel.

We were three travelers--me, my son and his friend who are on student budgets. We were driving back from Capri in a rented car so we couldn't pin down our arrival time and our mobiles were dead. The porter welcomed us and Paolo came to the B&B to give us ideas for all our needs--dinner, ATM, tickets, public transport. And there's a working elevator and strong wifi.

The room was high-ceilinged, sunlit and ample for 3 people with a large bathroom. It's adjoined by a little private balcony room with charming furniture. The kitchen is very clean with a great expresso machine and set up for each guest to have a variety of breakfast foods, juice and refrigerator storage of their own.

The common room has lots of seating with tables, a huge map of Rome streets on the wall, a computer and printer with supplies of paper to print boarding passes. The interior design is crisp and attractive--not like the tired furnishings and narrow spaces we had in many B&Bs on our trip.

It would be possible to do a family trip with younger kids here. There was a family there during our stay and we didn't hear a sound.

Room Tip: We had the Blue Room for 3 beds. Great views from every window.

The flat is well located and refurbished with everything we need. Just 10-12 minutes walking to Saint Peter Basilica and less to the Vatican Museum (we reccomend to book the entrance).
The bus and metro station are just around the corner. Take some time to visit the area near by the flat: we recommend, ad Paolo suggested us, to visit the Trionfale Market and the bakeries just around the corner... It is a really good place!

We found the room perfect, the location excellent and the owners friendly and very helpful. Would definitely recommend this place, whether with or without kids. It was very useful to have use of the pleasant kitchen area, especially with the kids.
