We very much enjoyed this tour. Our driver, Roberto, was terrific, so thoughtful, keeping track of everyone and making sure they had what the needed. Plenty of restroom stops was appreciated, and he is a fantastic driver. You can tell he enjoys his job. I felt like he was an old friend by the end. Our guide at Pompeii was great too and made sure we saw as much as possible in the 2 hour time frame. The Almalfi Coast was awesome, although I wish we could have stopped more along the way. We just got fleeting glimpses. Lunch at Chez Black was a highlight , although walking up the steps and the hill on a full stomach was challenging . Because of the time change and length of the day, it was dark for quite a bit of the coast. Then the ride back to Rome was really long.

Our group was only three people and it was wonderful. Monica did an outstanding job touring the Catacombs and the Basilica of San Clemente. She told us all of the history and showed us pictures. We went down three levels in St. Clemente church.

I knew nothing about Avventure Bellissime, but based on other recommendations, decided to book a day tour to Tuscany.
Our driver, Brando, was very punctual picking us up at our apartment in the Central Storico. He entertained us with history, current events and cultural information during the drive. The only drawback was the noise in the rear of the van kept us from hearing as well as we would have liked.
We stopped at a wine cellar i Montepulciano, a winery in Montalcino and in the village of Pienza. We also stopped at the abbey in Sant Antimo and listened to the chanting of the monks. Incredible!
In between, we had opportunity for tastings, lunch and shopping.
It was a great day. Excellent for those who want to see Tuscany but don't have the inclination or time to drive there.
Highly recommended and well worth the money. Ask for Brando and tell him Miss Hilda sent you!
