I've got to admit that I was a bit worried about coming - I needn't have bothered. It was a bit out of the way (walking to the metro took about 20 minutes but in the heat of summer, this was quite challenging). Another thing you could do is take the shuttle bus from the hotel to the middle of the city (it's only 6 euros return and picks you up right outside the hotel). We didn't do this because we were just as happy paying 6 euros to use the metro and go anywhere in the city all day. The hotel itself was absolutely lovely, very clean and the staff were helpful and spoke English. The only downside is the lack of tea and coffee facilities in the rooms but you always have access to ice and water from the dispensers in the halls. I strongly recommend having a meal at the hotel in the evening at some point during your stay; it's not cheap but worth every cent. The pool on the roof is excellent, very busy all day long but that's not the hotel's fault. And there's a lovely view of the city. I also splashed out on a massage which was very relaxing. There's a computer area too, which we used because we needed to print something out - so we were very impressed that we were able to do this. Free wifi too. There were even a couple of english channels on the flat screen tv in our room. Overall if we were to ever return to Rome, we would definitely use this hotel again. Are there better hotels? Probably, but not for these prices. As far as we were concerned, we got our value for money and then some. Very very happy.More
