So at the end of our trip, we came to Rome. After trudging through the city from Termini station, we end up at the hostel (which wasn't too far from the station, which was good) we find that the hostel is closed. Closed! Luckily, my friend had a European cell phone and called the number. We could barely understand what the man said, but he told us that he'd transfered our reservation to another hostel. We walked in the direction that we believed the hostel was and found a tourist center, put them on the phone with the man from Chianti Hostel, and they figured out where the new hostel was. They said they emailed us the two days prior. However, they did not because we checked our email before leaving for Rome. They did send us an email the night before our arrival, which didn't help because it was too late. Horrible service!
