We usually pre-book our restaurants after a great deal of research but one night we found our plans had changed and we found ourselves wandering the streets looking for somewhere to eat. We came across this restaurant and having looked at the menu, decided to give it a try and we were so glad that we did! The restaurant has a modern yet cozy and relaxed feel about it and our waiter was lovely and welcoming despite having strolled in off the street. The menu is simple and the food cooked to perfection. We had the cold meat starter with bread which was very nice. I then had pasta eith ragu sauce and partner had the fillet steak. We were quite shocked at the size of the steak and how beautifully cooked it was! My pasta was clearly hand prepared and the sauce beautifully fresh. The wine choices are very good and the creme brulee was divine! All very reasonable. All in all a lovely unplanned stop and one we would be happy to go back to!
