B&B Amor Rome - This is a very nice hotel, run by a very nice couple. The rooms are very clean and offer enough space for a small family. Breakfast is served in the room, and is arranged with you at the time of check in. all basic amenities are included and whatever you might need can be obtained from the reception. Everything from a taxi to tour can be booked from the reception as well.

You can walk to all the popular sights, including the Vatican city. But if you prefer, the metro is located on the corner of the hotel.

The staff are very friendly and always on hand to help.

I enjoyed this bed and breakfast, and would recommend it to all who choose to visit Rome on a budget.

I must suggest one place to eat, which is located to the left after exiting the B&B's front door and opposite the street called Pizzeria Napoli. You must eat there, the staff are very friendly, despite the slight language barrier (you will manage despite this). They are fairly inexpensive and you must try the Ole Picante, if you like spicy condiments with your food.

Air conditioning and Wi-Fi included.

We chose to spend our honeymoon at Amor - prior to going the location looked fab, the rooms looked funky and the reviews were promising - and we weren't disappointed. Arrived easily (forgot to book transfer but the shuttle bus followed by a taxi worked well), were met by George who was lovely and took our breakfast order for the next day and then showed us to our room (Beatrice), which was clean, modern and well looked after and then he produced a lovely bottle of prosecco on ice to celebrate with! Breakfasts were always lovely and on time, the neighbourhood was busy but not disruptively so (and we hate being woken up by noise), the shower was GREAT and all in all we wouldn't hesitate to recommend. We had any help we required (which was mainly about booking tables for dinner and concert tickets etc) and we really couldn't ask for anything else. Many thanks Amor, we'll be telling everyone we know to pay you a visit - and if we were to go back to Rome we wouldn't hesitate in booking again!

Room Tip: We had Beatrice and it was lovely - didn't see any of the others so we can't really comment!

Even before we arrived and stayed at the Bnb, we already received (long) emails from Michelle, who offered to help us to plan our Rome trip and purchase passes, etcetc....my impression then was "wow, so welcoming!"

Well, I can say Michelle and George (both are not Italians, I believe they are from the Phillippines) didn't mar my initial email impression of the bnb. They are very nice people, super super helpful! Thank you, Michelle and George!

Breakfast was also very nice, we have a variety of eggs (hardboiled on first day, fried on second), warm breads and toast, juice, coffee/tea, yogurts and fruit. Very filling.

Location is superbly close to the Vatican City and neighbourhood is ok (not as unsavory as around the Termini). Plenty of good restaurants nearby too. And it's very near Ottaviana metro stop.

Room is VERY clean, with modern furnishings. Bathroom is also not cramped like the some other European hotels I have stayed in over the 2 weeks. There is also a shared kitchenette ourside our room, with plenty of tea/coffee to have during the afternoons when you just feel like lazing around. :)

LOVE this place, and would recommend anyone visiting Rome to consider it. :)

This bed and breakfast is in a great location only 5 minutes from the Vatican. It's also fairly quiet considering that it is in a very busy section of Rome. The room was spacious and very clean. We stayed in the Vanessa room on the fifth floor Michelle and especially, George were both welcoming and extremely helpful. There are many good restaurants within walking distance for lunch or dinner. The breakfast was fantastic everyday. I would highly recommend this to anyone travelling to Rome.

Amor was in a really good location, close to the Vatican and a fairly good walk to the centre, if you don't fancy the walk there is the metro right on the corner. We found a lovely restaurant just a couple of doors down which served really good food and wine at fab prices. The breakfast was good with plenty of food and a hot option. The only thing to criticise is the lift which is small and only holds two people, but using the stairs worked off some of the food. I would go definitely recommend Amor within this price range, value for money. Thank you Michelle and George for making our stay perfect xx
