My fiancée and I loved the suite of Casa Pariolina one year ago. Beautiful, clean, perfectly furnished. The owners Carla and Giorgio were great. We recently came back with my fiancée's American family and everything was magic, again. We highly recommend Casa Pariolina!

Posto superbo, servizio eccellente. Consigliatissimo a ogni clientela!

Room Tip: Suite "Romantic" is wonderful. We are sure "Garden" is perfect too, probably eve...

My husband and I stayed with Carla & Giorgio for a wonderful week. in Sept. The Romantic Suite was like a movie set, only real. Very charming, comfortable, so pretty and very clean
also ! Kitchen had every thing you could possible need to cook with. There was a big closet with drawers for storage and lots of hangers for our clothes. We were able to store the luggage under the bed, so it felt more like home. We too were referred to lovely restaurants in the neighborhood and directed to Villa Borghese, a beautiful museum about a block from the house. We did not know about the Villa, so it was a wonderful surprise. Giorgio spent several hours on the internet helping us get reservations and tickets for site seeing. He had a friend that led us on a personal tour of the Vatican. There were a lot of small specialty shops, a good size super market and many cafes all within a few blocks. In our 6 week trip this was the best !

Room Tip: This was not a hotel. It was a private apartment.

We booked Casa Pariolina based on the excellent reviews and we were not disappointed of our choice. Since the first contact by email, the owner Signora Carla and son Giorgio were very professional and eager to accommodate our requests. We booked the "suite romantica" for a week and a parking spot for our rented car. Casa Pariolina is in a very elegant area, Parioli, which is were Romans, including me as a teenager long long time ago,, always dreamed to live. Although the location is not in Rome's historic center it is anyhow walking distance to Via Veneto and Villa Borghese and by bus or by taxi (taxi rates are quite cheap compared to my Toronto) you can reach locations where private cars are not allowed.
The suite was very comfortable, clean and fully equipped so we were able to cook our own meals. Free Wifi and air conditioning were most efficient. Thick window glasses would provide a good insulation against the road traffic noise. Signora Carla and Giorgio provided us with helpful hints about local restaurants and sightseeing.
We have no hesitation in recommending this B&B.

Carla was great, as was her son Giorgio. We had a couple of fabulous meals at restaurants they recommended. The suite was spacious, comfortable, and clean. Everything worked, including the wifi. We loved the location in a very nice (upscale) part of Rome. We felt very safe and secure. Great access to the Villa Borghese, and a 20 minute walk to the Spanish Steps. Carla's driver took us to the airport at the end of our trip, no hassle and a nice ride.

We flew to Rome after a week on the Black Sea and Carla pampered us like family! She made plans for a driver to meet and pick us up from the airport upon our arrival - and met us when we arrived to her beautiful home. They made our train reservations for side trips to Florence and Venice, too. She recommended a wonderful restaurant within walking distance, and even made reservations for us, too. She gave us a map and showed us how to get everywhere we wanted to see. The garden view room was excellent and had everything we needed to be comfortable, including a fully stocked mini fridge with drinks and all kinds of goodies. The area is called Borghese, and we felt like we were on Park Avenue NYC in a $5M dollar Villa. It is very safe and secure, and Carla and her son checked on us daily to see if we needed anything. We have wonderful memories and would certainly recommend staying there! 5 stars!

Room Tip: You cannot go wrong - full of charm. We walked everywhere.

Carla was fabulous. She welcomed us in time, with great advices and was really great with us along our stay. She advice the best restaurant we have been during our stay, and it is only 5 minute walk from the apartment (try the tiramisu at the Rossini, it is unbelievable).
The room is perfectly decorated, the Italian style you are looking for when traveling to Rome. It was clean, the Wifi and the clim were functioning perfectly. We have not used the kitchen so we cannot comment on it but it seems good. No smell of cigarettes in the room.
In the early morning you can ear the cars passing by as the room is on the street but I am a light sleeper.
The only bad side is the location as it is far away from the center (except villa Borghese). The main bus going to town was not working during our stay, and the other one stopped at 9PM. So we had to walk back (40 minutes) or take a taxi (7 euros from plazza Novona). BUT it is the occasion to discover a non-touristic place, with good restaurants and pleasant Italian people. So we recommend it.
