I originally booked this place because of the very fun colorful flats, price and location. I loved it! They were very kind and helpful upon my arrival. Even welcoming me to hang out in their home since I was there before check in time and the room was clean. Loved how close it was to two different parks and that I could walk to all the major sights within an hour including Spinosh steps, museums, Vatican City and the Colosseum! Every other day they would clean everything and place out a new plate of treats. So wonderful to come back to after a long day of class and wandering. Restaurant row and a grocery store were only a couple blocks away and having a kitchenette and all the stuff to cook with makes going to Rome on a budget totally doable. I do recommend booking a car for $50 through booking.com to pick you up at the airport and the day you leave just for ease of travel. This is because the place is a little ways from the airport and after a long flight it's nice to have a car waiting with your name on a sign I would not have had any desire to try to figure out public transportation upon landing in a city where not everyone speaks English unless you speak fluent Spanish or Italian. Plus the divers will usually make sure you actually get in the place Ahh and don't exchange your money at the airport. They inflated the exchange rate by .16 on the dollar. You can go to a local bank just up the street from the flat and exchange for a way better rate. I was able to only spend $500 US and that influded the cars both ways, exchange fee and all my food. No need for renting a car in this location. I'm pretty tall so the space felt pretty spacious as long as one doesn't want to hang out in the loft. The loft was great for sleeping and a comfortable bed with soft linnens. Kept all my clothes in the closet downstairs. Temperature of the room were easy to adjust and the ac and heat unit was very quiet.

Just make sure to ask for what button to press at the gate for your arrival. That wasn't really clear and there aren't any signs but the driver helped me out.

Room Tip: Yellow room has a loft for a bedroom

Casa Pariolina is the perfect place to stay in Rome. Everything is gorgeous: the location in a very nice and quiet area of Rome, the luxurious decoration of the room, and the warm welcome of the owner.
We highly recommend this place.

Carla and her son are very friendly and open-minded people. We came as a gay couple and had a wonderful stay there. The flat was very clean, nice decorated and was full of useful details: coffee machine with pads, a plate full with chocolate and cookies... I would always come back here. It's in a very calm area of the town (close to the U.S.-American embassy and close to the city center.

Room Tip: all flats are nice

Casa Pariolina is a beautifully appointed and immaculately clean apartment situated in a beautiful quiet part of Rome. It is some distance from central Rome, however Carla provided clear information of transport options.
Carla is a most gracious hostess, accommodating and knowledgable
My husband and I would thoroughly recommend this delightful apartment to all those travelling to Rome

We stayed at Casa Pariolina for the final three nights of our Italian vacation. Carla was a great hostess and gave very good instructions regarding the check in time and the directions to the property. The property is located in the Parioli neighborhood near Villa Borghese Gardens and the U.S. Embassy. The neighborhood is very quiet and residential. It was nice to spend time in an area where you were not surrounded by tourists. The property itself is quite stunning. When you walk into the building the first thing you notice is the beautiful marble spiral staircase and the elegant vintage elevator. The room was very clean and well decorated with great wood floors. We had the smaller purple room and it was very spacious and comfortable. In person it looked just like the pictures on the website. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was very modern. She even had a great hair dryer unlike every other place we stayed on the trip. The kitchenette which included a fancy coffee maker, toaster, refrigerator and stove was stocked with bread, fresh bakery goods, fresh fruit, yogurt, chocolates and other treats. While the property is a little further out, it was possible to get to the tourist sites either by taking a bus to Termini station or taking a tram. Carla was very helpful in helping us to get around. In addition, she even arranged for a driver to take us to the airport on the day we left. Overall it was a great experience and we would definitely stay here again.

I was in Rome for business, but Casa Pariolina would be good for holiday, too.

From Termini, it was a short taxi ride or a convenient ride on bus 910 to the place. Carla provided very good instructions beforehand, and so it was very easy to find the apartment building. It was in a very nice neighborhood near Villa Borghese. While it was not close to the other major tourist spots in Rome, it was a reasonably short bus ride away. Plus, one got to stay away from the crowd! In the Parioli area, there were a lot of great restaurants.

There were two apartments at Casa Pariolina. The apartment was very well-equipped and nicely decorated. There was a kitchen, and would be wonderful if one would like to do some simple cooking while there. The apartment was well stocked with coffee capsules and biscuits. Yoghurt was provided as well. Everything was clean and well kept. All in all, it was very good value compared to the kind of hotel room one could get at similar price.

Carla was a very friendly host. She provided very good information and tips.

I really enjoyed my short stay there. It would have been an even better base for longer stays.

Room Tip: Both apartments were in a residential apartment building -- very safe and comfortable.

This is a wonderful little apartment in the Parioli district, near the Borghese gardens. The apartment had everything you could want, and I loved this location. I've been to Rome many times, but had never stayed in this neighbourhood--I will from now on. It's beautiful, safe and convenient to everything. I'll certainly try to stay at Carla's apartment again as well-I was very comfortable there and really enjoyed it.
