I originally booked this place because of the very fun colorful flats, price and location. I loved it! They were very kind and helpful upon my arrival. Even welcoming me to hang out in their home since I was there before check in time and the room was clean. Loved how close it was to two different parks and that I could walk to all the major sights within an hour including Spinosh steps, museums, Vatican City and the Colosseum! Every other day they would clean everything and place out a new plate of treats. So wonderful to come back to after a long day of class and wandering. Restaurant row and a grocery store were only a couple blocks away and having a kitchenette and all the stuff to cook with makes going to Rome on a budget totally doable. I do recommend booking a car for $50 through booking.com to pick you up at the airport and the day you leave just for ease of travel. This is because the place is a little ways from the airport and after a long flight it's nice to have a car waiting with your name on a sign I would not have had any desire to try to figure out public transportation upon landing in a city where not everyone speaks English unless you speak fluent Spanish or Italian. Plus the divers will usually make sure you actually get in the place Ahh and don't exchange your money at the airport. They inflated the exchange rate by .16 on the dollar. You can go to a local bank just up the street from the flat and exchange for a way better rate. I was able to only spend $500 US and that influded the cars both ways, exchange fee and all my food. No need for renting a car in this location. I'm pretty tall so the space felt pretty spacious as long as one doesn't want to hang out in the loft. The loft was great for sleeping and a comfortable bed with soft linnens. Kept all my clothes in the closet downstairs. Temperature of the room were easy to adjust and the ac and heat unit was very quiet.
Just make sure to ask for what button to press at the gate for your arrival. That wasn't really clear and there aren't any signs but the driver helped me out.
