Luca is the best host you could ask for. I chose this B&B on the basis of the trip advisor reviews. Luca lives up to all of the hype. He provided fantastic information in his confirmation email - a variety of choices for transportation from the airport (including prices and travel time). When I asked for advice, he responded promptly. He recommended we book the Vatican tickets online and even gave me the link to book the tickets (he was right). He also recommended a guide for a three hour walking tour (Walk it with Jim 120 euros) - it was fantastic! We chose to get picked up by a driver because we were arriving late in the evening (50 euros) - it was seamless. Luca was waiting for us even though it was very late. He took the time to provide us with a map and gave us highlights on how to get around. Each evening he was waiting at the B&B to give advice about local restaurants. He never steered us wrong. When we came back with a bottle of local red wine Luca got us some wine glasses and a corkscrew!

The room was excellent. Lots of closet space, a tv, free wifi, a modern bathroom. LOVELY bedding and towels (the softest ever!!!).

The location was great - in a nice central neighbourhood.

I would return to this B&B in a heartbeat - as long as Luca was still the host.

Little to add to the other reviews regarding the hospitality of the owner "Luca". As a first time visitor to Rome with my wife and another couple "Luca's" insight to making the most of a week-end trip proved invaluable. His input included: Airport collection, advice on how to purchase vatican city tickets over the internet and a personalised guided tour on arrival (not cheap at 180 euros but 4 hours of personalised information made it seem worthwhile) , restaurant recommendations (family owned bistros where the locals eat, NOT expensive fine dining), how to buy tickets for the Colliseum with the minimum of queuing, a walking tour with "Jim" was exceptional ( an English archaeologist who arrived in Rome in 1990 and never left) insight, interest, humour and history brought the city to life; 120 euros for 3.5 hours was great value.
The rooms themselves are more than adequate and positioned well for the Vatican city. Breakfast at a nearby cafe adds a further dimension to feeling part of the city rather than an outsider looking in. Don't forget to order the freshly squeezed orange juice!
The problem with Rome and the Vatican city is that there is SO much to see that you could become dazed by the visual onslaught. The guided tours and "Luca's" own personal recommendations ensured that didn't happen to us. I normally never return to the same accommodation but for further insight to this beautiful city I just might and I wouldn't hesiate to recommend it to others.

We booked Rome Armony Suites on the basis that it fared so well on trip advisor. We were definitely not disappointed! From the moment the first e-mail was sent to make enquiries, we were made to feel welcome and in good hands.

The accommodation itself is clean and of a modern interior. The B&B is centrally located, with all the main sites a short walking distance away. There is free wifi internet provided, as well as a desktop computer for your usage on the main desk, should you require it. Breakfast is in a local cafe.

The jewel in the crown, as previous reviews have mention, has to be the B&B's hosts. Luca, and his son Andrea, looked after us from the moment we landed. Luca had organised for a private transfer to pick us up from the airport, and when we arrived he gave us a detailed 'tour of Rome' using a map, which he gave us. Luca highlighted the main sites, the best time of day to go and see them (in order to avoid the crowds), even which day would be best to go and see which individual areas. Luca also indicated which areas that we needed to heighten our awareness of pickpockets.

We were given recommendations every night for dinner, and these restaurants were not obvious choices frequented by hoards of tourist, but places that local people ate in. On our first night we walked to the restaurant and got a taxi back, when we told Luca and Andrea how much they charged us, they actually organised and personally spoke to the other taxis that we caught, which were miraculously about half the price of what we paid on the first night!

I can not praise the service that we received from Rome Armony Suites enough... but don't take my word for it, book up and see for yourselves!

I cannot rave enough about Armony Suites and Luca! Our family of four stayed there 3 nights and Luca made us feel like we were home and treated us like long-time friends. He is a genuinely wonderful and caring person and my two girls, ages 9 and 7, LOVE him. Staying at Armony and meeting Luca was the star highlight during this holiday of many highlights for them. Lucca had the best recommendations for restaurants and showed us a gelataria close by which has amazing pistachio gelato! The location of the B&B is also very central as you could walk everywhere. I was 7-months pregnant and found it very easy getting about. There's also the underground station nearby if you don't fancy walking. Being close to the Vatican, this part of Rome is very safe, less crowded and touristy than the Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps area. It is also amidst some great shopping streets. His rooms are beautifully modern, clean and the wet room is superb! We really do not think our holiday in Rome could have been as memorable and enjoyable had we not met Luca. Thanks a million Luca, we will definitely look for you again when we go back to Rome!

This was my first trip travelling alone and spent a long time looking at various hotels and bed and breakfasts in Rome. Let me save you time... Book Armony suites. Amazing central location a stones through from St Peters, great shops and metro station just round the corner. Luca and his son Andrea are amazing hosts and make you feel extremely comfortable without being invasive. Great area for shopping and completely safe to take a wander in the evening. Beautiful spacious rooms with en suite bathrooms, gorgeous views and WIFI. It’s like returning to your own little boutique apartment in Rome. WONDERFUL.
