My wife and I stayed here three nights at the end of April. The staff is fanatastic, and so helpful in addressing all our "touristy" requests. They all spoke english fairly well. The hotel is located very conveniently to all the major sites you would want to see, with the bus stop a short 5 minute walk away. We will also always remember the strong scent of blooming honeysuckle as we entered their lovely courtyard. Our room, #22, with a small balcony, was small, yet comfortable and very clean. The bed and pillows were also quite comfortable. Free Wi-Fi was strong in our room, and we had a safe to secure our valuables. Breakfast brunch was quite nice, and held in a charming room downstairs.
A few minor issues: The bathroom was small, and the shower area even smaller. (I kept hitting the shower lever as I moved around showering). The TV was tiny (maybe 13").
Overall, for expensive Rome, it was a very nice place to stay after 3 busy days of tours.
Speaking of tours, I highly recommend Presto Tours. They were fantastic, and our 3 tours over two days consisted of my wife and I for the 3 hr "Rome at Night", and six people each for both the Coliseum and Vaticans tours.More
