Excellent location - close to the Metro and within walking distance of many of the sights. We stayed in Apartment B and were completely satisfied. Clean and spacious with a lovely little terrace. The staff was gracious and very helpful with maps and directions. We would recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again on our next visit to Rome.

Excellent location close to train, bus etc. and all main attractions in Rome. Quiet, spacious, free WiFi, outdoor balcony, (no views). Manageent very polite and helpful. Basic continental breakfast included. Kitchen allows for basic self catering. Expresso machine was great in the morning. Would stay again. Cash only payment for the appartment.

Room Tip: The Appartment is associated withthe Hotel but located in another building around the corner. Break...

As I was travelling alone on this trip, so I stayed in a small room but it was very clean & cosy. The hotel's location was excellent as the metro station & train terminal were close by. The staff were very friendly & helpful.
One single journey by express train from Rome airport to the terminal cost 14 Euros. It took approximately 15 mins (with baggages) walking from the terminal to Hotel Cortina. On my way back from Hotel Cortina to the airport, Hotel arranged me a nice car & it cost around 40 Euros.
Though I paid a little bit more but it save me all the hustles as I had shopped a lot!

Room Tip: Try to to book the hotel apartment rooms earlier if u don't mind to pay a littel bit more as the...

The owner of this hotel is extremely helpful. On the train to Rome during a trip with my husband and in-laws, my husband discovered that he had incorrectly booked our rooms and called the hotel to sort out the situation. The owner was extremely understanding and immediately tried to do what he could to accommodate us and ensured that we had enough rooms to stay for the duration of our trip.

He shifted us to the hotel apartments for the last two days of our stay and these were one of the nicest ones I've stayed in plus they were extremely well priced. So I'd highly recommend checking out the Cortina apartments as well.

The hotel itself is small but extremely well located, within walking distance to Termini station, Trevi fountain, the Spanish steps and other cultural highlights. The hotel also helped us book a guide for the Vatican and he was excellent.

We had a lovely three nights at Hotel Cortina. The staff was wonderful - friendly and helpful. The location is great - close to the train station and walking distance to everywhere but the Vatican (but metro train stop is on the corner and we actually did end up meandering back) The breakfast was nice - very attentive and about what you expect in Italy. The Irish pub downstairs was fun and the noise was not a problem at all. Yes, the rooms and the shower are small - but they all are in Italy - so just expect that and you will enjoy your stay.

We stayed at the Hotel Cortina in Apt. A for three nights. The rooms were beautiful, clean, and the perfect accommodation for our family of five. Mr. Milano and his staff were most gracious and helpful. We appreciated the internet access, breakfast in the morning, and the espresso maker in the kitchen. The bathrooms are modern and were stocked with soap, shampoo and a blow dryer. The location is a ten minute walk to the Termini Metro station, and a half hour walk to the Colosseum. We would stay here again.
