We stayed here in Oct 2019, but never got around to writing a review. This is a traditional Italian hotel, run for many years by the same family. It is very comfortable, the service was so friendly and helpful, breakfast very good indeed and location on a quiet street. It was within easy walking distance of the Vatican and close to the river. We would definitely return.

I have stayed here 3 times and each time have been very impressed. The buffet breakfast offers a great variety to set you up for the day and the staff are very friendly, professional and efficient. The location is great for both walking to The Vatican and into the centre if Rome's attractions. There is also a Metro station 10 minutes walk away. I would highly recommend this hotel for these reasons.

We stayed here for a long weekend whilst also watching the Six Nations Rugby. Couldn’t fault it, great value for money, room was beautiful, staff friendly and helpful, bar was well stocked and breakfast had a very good choice. It was within walking distance of the Vatican City and also a Metro station for getting into Rome. Would definitely recommend.

A lovely old hotel in a leafy street near all sorts of old palaces and near the Tiber.
The room was spacious with a good bathroom. Excellent service and very good breakfast included in th price.
There was also food served for dinner incase you arrived back hungry and. Too tired to venture out..

We arrived at the hotel early on Thursday around 3 hours before standard check-in and was welcomed with no issues and our room was already prepared for us. The hotel room was spotless and had a private balcony which was brilliant to relax in after a day of walking around the city. The bedding and towels were changed daily and our personal stuff was always in the same place as we left it. There is a safe provided in the room at no extra cost and there is also a mini bar with drinks in it, although we didn’t use it, the prices were fair. The only issue I had was the air-con didn’t seem to work but I didn’t raise this with the team as it wasn’t really required in the evening so I cannot complain about that. The breakfast had plenty of choice and was well stocked even when every table was full. The staff at the hotel were brilliant whenever we came across them. I special mention to the bartender who was always on hand to serve us and was always polite and made us feel welcome at the bar. When we headed out to explore the gent on reception was kind enough to help us with our bearings and show us where to find the main sites to visit and the easiest way to get there! We handed in our key before we left each day and each member of staff always remembered who we were and had our keys ready! Getting to different sites was extremely easy as it was only a 5/10 minute walk to piazza del Popolo and Lepanto metro station was even closer making it easy to get to places like Trevi Fountain or the Spanish Steps, a 24 hour pass on the Metro was around €7. There is a local supermarket just 2 streets away and plenty of local restaurants to visit within a 5 minute walk if you want to stay away from the “tourist restaurants”.

All in all;

- The hotel room was spotless
- The staff were first class
- Breakfast being included was always a bonus and even better with the amount of choice
- Bedding and pillows provided were clean and comfortable
- close to the main line to get to the various sites (Vatican was about a 10/15 min walk)

Both myself and my girlfriend would highly recommend this hotel, thank you again for topping off a great city break!
