We stopped in this hotel the big company. An excellent site, a smart kind from a roof terrace. Numbers small but pure. In our number (double) there was very small bathroom, in other numbers it is more. Strong audibility from street and from other numbers. A breakfast plentiful but without hot dishes. Once again we will necessarily stop here. The hotel personnel has helped to order a cheap transfer in the airport.

Nos hospedamos en agosto de 2011 y la experiencia fue muy buena. El servicio es destacable y la ubicación es estratégica para visistar los atractivos de Roma. Recomendable 100 % si no buscan lujos pero sí servicio eficiente.

Great location to explore Rome and reasonable price. Would rate it as a solid three star hotel. Wide range of choice for breakfast (good for Italy standards). Only main negative for my stay was the intermittent hot water - we were on the 5th floor - and after a few days worked out that there was hot water in our room from 8am! So perhaps not a problem if you're sleeping in or in a different room perhaps. There were two elevators with one not working - but it wasn't a problem to wait for the lift.

Room Tip: At breakfast rather than get the coffee machine coffee in the breakfast room - ask the waitress nice...

How can they get 4 stars ? The staff are helpfull indeed, breakfast is ok, coffee bad for Italy...
Location is GREAT and they have a lovely terras on the roof with amazing sightseeing over Rome, you can plan your trip from the roof. If tou want a drink, take your bottle of Italian wime and glasses, cheap and nice. The reception clerck is helpfull also, understands French and English. Rooms are small, we were on the top floor, so hardly no street noise. Fine for a long weekend stay anyhow.

Room Tip: Choose the top floor, close to the roof terrasse !

Great location (in the historical center of Rome). Very small rooms, a little old smell, old furniture, good breakfast. A very unpleasant experience : while getting our breakfast, a cockroach was climbing on the wall in the restaurant. Staff very helpfull.

Room Tip: The rooms at the last floor (5-th) have balcony and nice view.

The room was small but clean, great views of the street. Elevator wasn't working but it didn't hurt us to take the stairs. The breakfast was good. The location was ideal!

Also known as Hotel Pace Elvetia this is a fantastic hotel!! We stayed July 2009.

The location is fab, round the corner from the Vittoria Monument, 5 mins from the Coliseum and 10 mins straight road to Trevi fountain. We walked it to and from the hotel to the bus station for arrival and departure and we also walked from hotel to Vatican City one morning. The roof terrace offers some great views of the area.

Great price for hotel, great location, comfy, clean - what more can you ask for?

We found the best restaurant down the lane 2 mins from the hotel. Had the best pasta of my life in there!!!

Have absolutely no complaints whatsoever and if we ever go back to Rome, this is exactly where we'd stay.

Great base to explore a wonderful city ;-)
