Negative first - There is a kettle, & fridge in the room which is handy but no cups to drink from, had to buy some, which wasn't really a big deal. The real negative was the bed was actually a bed settee and not very comfortable with sheets that didnt fit. This did affect my back and I had to take pain killers, as walking long distances became a problem.
On the positive we had a fantastic holiday, the hotel was in a great location near the Vatican. Excellent restaurants & wine bars close proximity. The hotel was basic, but you get what you pay for. Fridge was good and silent, useful for milk & cold drinks. Spent most of our time out & about so hardly there.....Rome is fantastic with friendly lovely people and amazing sites round every corner. We got the 2 day ticket for the red bus so could travel around with no problem.More
