great hotel in the center of ancient Rome, the rooms are well furnished, the thing that we liked the most was the breakfast on the terrace where there is a spectacular view, even the concierge guys are funny, all young and gritty, the 'hotel is really good, I recommend it, sorry not to have appreciated the advice of the concierge to the restaurant they recommended Edy's restaurant was the worst meal of our entire trip.

A hotel that can be friendly, are at the heart of Rome is a strategic place, the hotel also nice finished interior, the thing I do not approve of a hotel without restaurant should have valid points of reference, and when you ask them for advice can not you can send the worst restaurants of Rome as it happened to us, Restaurant S.ana, bad restaurant, I was outraged by this advice

This is a nice, rather small hotel built within an old palazzo, with a familiar atmosphere and helpful nice staff.
It's situation is perfect, many beautiful places like Fontana Trevi, Spanish Steps, Pantheon, Piazza Navona are near and within the pedestrian area. And of course Piazza del Popolo is just around the corner.
The roof terrace facing Villa Borghese is magnificient, well worth having a drink there in a summer evening.
Excellent shopping possibilities around, e.g. the Belstaff Flagstore just in front.
The rooms are rather small.
Drawback: no wireless and internet lan costs 10 Euro per day.
Breakfast is ok. Tip: ask for the wonderful "marocchino" caffe.
In summary I liked very much staying in this hotel which as a singular atmosphere and is optimal location

This hotel was extremely overpriced and we had no ac in our junior suite. It was hot in ROME and one of the bedrooms in this tiny junior suite had no AC. We called about it, and they gave us the run around. We called again and got there is nothing we can do see about adjusting your bill in the AM. When we tried for an adjustment in the AM we were given the run around again. We had to sleep with the windows open. There was a huge political rally at the piazza next to the hotel which started with whistles and yelling at 6 am. It was awful! All would have been well had we gotten some accomodation on the bill. I will be fighting with my credit card next.

Stayed here for just 2 nights as part of an 18 day trip to Florence, Rome, London and Paris. A friend recommend this hotel to me so I made a reservation without really doing much research on other hotels. I do think, as others have noted, that it was a little expensive compared to other places we have stayed (we had just come from Florence and had a terrific, really spacious hotel room--actually more of an apartment). Our junior suite was definitely on the small side for a suite. But the room was very clean, the staff friendly and helpful for the most part (read a bit further to see what I mean) , and as I said, the hotel is in a very good location. And when you go to Rome, London, Paris, etc. everything is expensive so you just sort of get used to it! I actually liked the rooftop terrace. We went both evenings for a drink and I thought it was lovely (unlike a previous reviewer). My only complaint is that we were flying out of Rome at 6:00 p.m. on the day we checked out of the hotel. They kept our bags for us and when we returned, we asked if they could make change for a €20 bill (asked for two tens or four 5's--I don't remember) so we could tip the bellman (the hotel's own employee!) and maybe the cab driver. We were told that they would not do that for us because we had already checked out! That just seemed ridiculous to me. I really don't think we were asking for anything special or unusual. We had just paid €398 each night to stay there and they couldn't just trade us some smaller bills! So, even though the hotel was very nice, I can only give it an average rating because of that! Hotel management needs to realize that it's often the little things that stand out (good or bad)! And it's the little things that are so easy to do!

This hotel was suggested to us by our travel agent and what a wonderful suggestion it was! This small charming hotel was located very close to the Piazza del Popolo and the Spanish Steps and made for a great central location for all our sightseeing trips. The staff was genuine and friendly. The room we had was located on the third floor of the hotel with a charming private terrace which gave us lovely views of the hillside and the Piazza. This boutique hotel was quiet, charning and comfortable, making our stay in Rome very enjoyable.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the third floor with a terrace
