We stayed here for a five night break in a suite. Our room's balcony looked out over the street, with views left of Piazza Popolo and right towards Spanish Steps. Most attractions were within walking distance, or an inexpensive taxi ride, depending on how energetic we were feeling (it was 35+ degrees!) There were a handful of restaurants a stone's throw from the hotel plus a variety of shops including a small supermarket. Being in a mostly pedestrianized area, it was very quiet.
The room itself was very comfortable. The mattress was firm and everything was very clean. The bathroom included complimentary toiletries which were replenished throughout our stay. The buffet breakfast was perfectly adequate.
The biggest plus for us during our stay, was the friendliness of the staff: nothing was too much trouble and we were given recommendations for eateries and also little hidden gems of tourist interest. We'd definitely stay here again.

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights the location is great next to shops / Resturants and close to Spanish steps (10 min walking)

The furniture quality is poor beds matters is too hard, bed sheets are not clean (stained)

Would I stay there again? I don't think so

We went at high season and at the hottest it's been for a while.
Hotel was welcoming and quaint, and above all - the Air Conditioning worked!
Overall, the location was great, with everything local enough to stave off the heat.

Positives:
Staff: Brilliant - always helpful and welcoming
Location: amazing - 10 mins from Spanish Steps, lots of things to do locally and everywhere is within walking distance - as long as it's not 40 Celsius when you go!
Breakfast: Good enough
Cleanliness: Great
Bed: Good enough
Noise: quiet
Views: not great - but we knew that when we booked

Negatives:
Room was small but we’d read the reviews so got what we expected.

We found the hotel to be ok, definitely did not feel like a 4 star hotel in Europe! The room we got was the suite, with a nice terrace view to the piazza popolo, the room was big, with a very nice bathroom, yet it all seems a little outdated, the frames with some tapestry pieces dont seem to match the wall paper and the gold molding, but it all has a fun very European classic personality.

The staff is casual and relaxed, no one available to help with luggage. Breakfast was included and surprisingly complete, we came in 10 min before closing time and they still refilled everything for us, which was extremely friendly.

Later we learned, throughout our visit that Piranesi was a tremendous character of the city and was involved in very important projects such as the colosseum, St Peter and the Pantheon..

Room Tip: Suite piranesi

We stayed here for four nights for part of our honeymoon. The room and bathroom is tiny, but clean. We slept excellently although the hotel could be noisy at times. Breakfast was lovely with a good range in times (7 until 10.30) and all the staff we encountered were lovely. We especially loved the rooftop bar for cocktails. We were disappointed not to have a balcony or terrace when we specifically requested one, especially when it was for our honeymoon but no matter. All in all a really nice hotel.

I'm an embroiderer so I really enjoyed all of the exquisite framed embroidered fabrics adorning the walls of this charming hotel. And by charming I don't mean too small or old - it's very well appointed and we stayed here for five nights. Be sure you don't overlook the rooftop for lovely sunsets with a spectacular view of the city. Breakfast begins at 7:00 (don't come earlier) and you will be entertained and well served by the wonderful staff. I will definitely stay here again for the ambiance, value and location. Perfect for us.

Room Tip: Some rooms have balconies, but even if you don't get one, you can always go to the roof.

I stayed here for 4 nights and it was a very nice experience. The room is decorated in a classic tasteful style, You have access to a wonderful roof terrace with fantastic view. Not crowded up there! The staff at the reception is just great, the breakfast is fine (a smiling person at that place would be nice though) without being so fantastic. Location is less than 100 m from Piazza del Popolo and the hotel is in an old and wonderful palazzo. Bathroom is small but ok, some things didn't work 100% and the hotel could use some paint here and there, but the atmosphere and the quaint and cosy room makes me come bake for sure!
