Stopped in for dinner into an empty restaurant at 745PM. That should have been my clue to pass on this place. What is it with these local restaurants in Italy. The Managers and staff rarely smile or greet their customers. It is like they are doing you a favor to let you eat there. I must defend Juliano our waiter who was nice. The food another story. The salad was mediocre with old rusty lettuce. My Pasta was like chewing gum and the sauce was Chef Boyardee from a can. My Wife had shredded chicken with 4-5 pieces of wilted Arugula. The chicken had a lot of grizzle. Flavorless. We ate 2 bites and asked for check. After 15 years of coming to Italy I finally had a bad meal. This place should only be a bar. Did pick up a nice new excuse to use when I get served stale bread. The guy actually said; " The bread is firm because it comes from altitude in the mountains"---with a straight face. It could have been used as a weapon. Next time I will take a clue from the crowd inside --if there is one.
