Loved this place. Rooms were clean and well thought out. The shower in our room was incredible. Close to Vatican, Spanish Steps, Piazza Navona, and the Pantheon. Short ride to the rest of central Rome.

Lobby Bar was good after a day of touring. Music was surprising to me and made me feel warm.

Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. A good base to start the day.

Staff was extremely responsive when we had requests.

Felt like a welcome guest here.

Dear Guest,
Thank you for taking the time to write a review on our Hotel Adriano. We are most appreciative for the high rating you gave us.
We are very pleased that you enjoyed your stay at our hotel and that the cleanliness met your standards as well as finding the shower to be excellent. We do try to think of everything that would satisfy our guests when they are in their room.
Our location is very central, in the heart of Rome and in walking distance to all the major sights. The Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain are within a 5-10 minute walk while the Colosseum and the Vatican are 15-20 minutes away.
Thank you for having tried our bar, The Gin Corner. It is always a treat to sit and relax with an incredible cocktail, that has been prepared by our very experienced mixologists, and review the wonderful touring day you just had, while allowing the music to accompany your visions and relaxation! Our bar has over 100 brands of international gin which is why our cocktails are so special. We have won 2 awards, one for being the first gin bar in Italy and the second for the best hotel bar in Italy.
We're happy that you found the breakfast buffet to be plentiful and delicious. We do our best to select items that will appeal to all our guests. We serve, scrambled eggs and bacon, hard boiled eggs, croissants and many different kinds of bread, a cold cuts and cheese platter, fresh fruit and fruit juices, home baked cakes, muffins, biscuits, tea, coffee, espresso and cappuccino. In addition we can provide vegan and gluten free items, by requesting them at the time of booking.
Our staff is at your disposal for any needs you may have. It is always good to get feedback that they are responsive and friendly. And it is so important that our guests feel welcomed, especially by our staff. So we are delighted to read that. We hope that the next time you visit Rome, that you will choose us again.
All the best,
Eleonora

Really wanted to give 5 stars, but...
The location is as good as it gets. Within close proximity and walking distance of the major attractions.
But...that’s about it. Though the staff are friendly and the lobby is quaint, the room was dark and in need of an update.
We stayed in a relatively large triple room. I could hardly stand in the shower and had to turn sideways to get in. The entire vibe of the room was depressing.
Breakfast (if you could call it that) is embarrassing. No fruit, no vegetables. There’s hardly anything to eat. We ended up eating bread with butter and eggs.
For the same price you can do better.

Dear Guest,
Thank you for taking the time to write a review on our Hotel Adriano.
We appreciate that you found our location to be good for your explorations in Rome. We are in walking distance to all the major sights. The Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain are within a 5-10 minute walk while the Colosseum and the Vatican are 15-20 minutes away.
We also thank you for the compliments to our friendly staff and the décor of our lobby.
We are very disappointed in reading that you were dissatisfied with your room. I do not know if you asked the front desk if there was a way to be changed to another room? But you could have done so. If we had another empty room, we would not hesitate to give it to you. We have photos on our website of all the different typologies of rooms that we have and no one has ever stated our rooms are depressing. So we apologize that we did not meet your needs in this category.
We are completely dismayed by your comment that you could hardly call our breakfast buffet a breakfast. For the most part, we receive very positive comments regarding our breakfast buffet for its quality and selection. So we honestly don't understand how you could not have had all of the above offered to you especially because our staff work very hard to replace the items as they are consumed by our guests. Again, we apologize for the fact that you were not satisfied and we hope that you can see that is not the usual situation regarding our buffet breakfast.
Best regards,
Eleonora

I could recommend this hotel, and I would stay here again. Good breakfast, but not the biggest selection. We could walk to everything we want to see and do in Rome. You can order transport from the airport to the hotel from the hotel.

This is a great hotel situated in a fabulous location 5/10 minutes walk from the Spanish Steps and 15/20 minutes walk from the Trevi Fountain. We also walked to the Vatican and Colosseum ambling through the narrow streets which was great. Our room was small but clean and comfortable. The Gin bar is well worth a visit . Staff were helpful and friendly. I'd recommend a stay here if you are visiting Rome.

We picked Hotel Adriano because we could see it was a great location for seeing the Rome sites (roughly midway between the Spanish Steps and the Pantheon) and because it was recommended by a friend of a friend. We would go back again because the rooms are nicely furnished (if small), the baths are good, there is a nice sitting area in the lobby (rooms are not large enough to sit around in, but this area is) and a beautiful dining area where the best breakfast buffet we saw in Europe is served. But mostly, we'd go back because we liked the staff -- always on duty, always impeccably professional, always ready with a good recommendation on a restaurant or a walking adventure.

Room Tip: Coming here from the airport? The hotel can arrange a car pickup. Price is about 20% more than a cab, service is about 100% better.

Dear Guest,
Thank you for taking the time to write a review on our Hotel Adriano.
We are always excited to read that someone has decided to come to our Hotel by someone who was a former guest. That is one of the best forms of publicity and we appreciate it. Of course, our location is ideal. We are 5-10 minutes in walking distance to the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain and 15-25 minutes by foot to the Vatican and the Colosseum.
We are pleased that you enjoyed your room. When you look on our website, you can see all the different typologies of rooms we have with their dimensions, décor, and price category. So that the next time you come you can choose a room that is larger. Our sitting areas, in our lobby are comfortable to lounge in, to have a drink, to chat, to surf the web and to read. Their quiet, spacious and comfortable.
Thank you for saying that our breakfast buffet was the best you were served in Europe and that our dining area is beautiful! We take great pride in providing both a pleasant environment and a well balanced breakfast with many options for our international guests to choose from. We serve: scrambled eggs and bacon, hard boiled eggs, croissants and a variety of breads, cold cuts and cheese platter, cereals, yogurts, fresh fruit and fruit juices, biscuits, home baked cakes and muffins, tea, coffee, espresso and cappuccino. We also serve gluten free and vegan options which you need to request at the time of booking.
We are delighted to know that one of the reasons you would return to us is due to the way you were treated by our staff. We are well aware that it makes all the difference when the staff is friendly, helpful, professional and truly willing to help.
So, thank you again for your positive comments and we will look forward to your next visit with us.
All the best,
Barbara
