Dear Sir/Madam

Thank you very much for the wonderful review. Indeed, the rooms assigned to you, I overlooked the courtyard, but I made this choice to give you a very quiet room, if you had asked me a room with a view I would have given no problems, however, the next we'll give you a room with the miles of beautiful views Margutta!

Best Regards

Hotel Forte is a small historic hotel near the Spanish stairs and the old city center. In walking distance to almost everything. Clean and with good wifi in the rooms. Small bathrooms but clean. If you travel by car the nearest parking house is Villa Borghese with walking entrance from the metro station Spanish stairs. Good value for money to be in Italy.

Room Tip: Best rooms are facing the street, not the backyard.

We are just back from Rome after spending three days in the Hotel Forte. TEveryone working in the Hotel, from the cleaning staff to the front desk were very friendly and did everything to make our stay a comfortable one. The breakfast was lovely served by a very competent lady who greeted us with a smile every morning. Breakfast had the usual cheeses and meats but there was scrambled egg, sausage and bacon also available. The breakfast room is small but cosy and adequate for what is required. The hotel location is perfect if you enjoy 'retail therapy' , however, we just enjoyed the sights and the nice selection of restaurants and bars nearby. The room we had was very quiet and the bed was exceptionally comfortable - a must after sight-seeing all day. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Rome, it was excellent value for money and WE WILL BE BACK.

We had to stay at this hotel as Hotel Manfredi was full for our last night. It was a big mistake. Please see separate review for Hotel Manfredi which is in the same building. Hotel Forte was so much below our expectations. The only good thing is obviously the location. There was not even a room to leave our luggage. They just left them on the corridor. We did not even consider having breakfast at the hotel, therefore I cannot comment on the breakfast. The room was a standard room but it was very tiny even for Rome standards. There was no place to put our luggage. We were too tired to look for another hotel, but I really wish that we did!

Dear Sir/Madam

I regret very much that you have not enjoyed our hotel. I tried to climb into that room you were but I could not, in fact are not even able to figure out who you are, since checking all customers who stayed at the Hotel Manfredi in September came even one ... however, as you can see from other reviews, ours is a small hotel, which seeks to establish a relationship with their guests very friendly and family, our first goal is to make people feel as if they were at home, and very often succeed. Some rooms are quite small (in fact, are called small double) but many others are very large (and are called double standard). What I do not understand is why when you saw the room, since you had no reservation as you wrote, you did not change hotels? If you had asked him to us, we will also help you find a hotel in the area that was to your liking, as I said our first goal is not profit, but to please the guests. I hope you will give us a second chance, we'll be here waiting.

Best Regards

We were with our daughter in Rome and had a triple room booked at the Hotel Forte for 5 days. This was an excellent choice. The room was adequate on the size, very clean and the bathroom even had a bathtub. The breakfast buffet was delicious. Located near the Spanish Steps, are also within reach of many attractions on foot. As the hotel is located in a side street, it is far from the Roman road. Only from 7:30 am it is loud for half an hour when school starts. If we at some point again in Rome, Hotel Forte will again be first choice.
