I was there with my family and we were sceptical when we saw the entrance since it reminded us of a hostel. However, the room we got was incredibly beautiful. The location is perfect since it is walking distance from St Peter's cathedral and the tube. Would stay there again.

we had a very good stay there! the staff was very kind! the room was nice with it's italian style. very clean. Even though we had a room with window to the big street it was quiet, we didn't hear the traffic sound. the breakfast was simple and good. We didn't miss anything. The metro is just a short walk away and it's the perfect location to start your Rome tour. We will definitely stay there again next time!

This is not a hotel, it's a low quality B&B. It's in a building where other people live so you have to ring the door to get in, the stairs smell, the "hotel" itself has the rooms right next to the reception counter where you can count on the service of employees that barely speak English. I know not the entire world should speak English, but when in tourism I would say that's essential. The room itself was, honestly dirty. The only good thing was the bed which had white sheets that seemed clean. The rooms had dirty curtains, one of them had a red stain that looked like blood, and there was a carpet that was old and disgusting. As soon as we arrived we removed the quilt off the bed because it was stained and my husband told me to not even open the wardrobe where there were super old blankets full of dust. Towels were thin and they must have been there for so long that one was dusty. We put that one on the floor, hoping they would change it , but they just hanged it back. The room had the windows open when we arrived around 9.30pm and as such was full of mosquitoes. I asked for them not to open the windows so late after that and two days later clearly they forgot as it was again open. AC didn't work properly and made a noise that wouldn't let you sleep. Every time you use water in the WC it makes such a noise that would wake up anyone. The bottom of the tub was old and didn't look clean. Every day we would have to leave the key so they could go to the room and make the bed because that was all it was, they didn't clean the bathroom or the room itself, just removed the garbage and make the bed. We were there for 5 nights, and on the 3rd night we got there and we didn't have any towels. I went to complain and the person at reception just asked what size I wanted, never apologized for taking away all towels and not replacing them. Breakfast was appalling, you have to ask for coffee to whoever is there and it was so bad I just ended up going to a coffee shop a few doors down. There was no selection of bread, just a couple of croissants and a cake that looked like the same one every morning. It's not cheap enough for the bad quality it offers, the only good think is the location, it helps being close to the Vatican because it's where you can expect bigger queues and it's good to get there early. Apart from that it's just a bad B&B with no customer skills, unclean and no charm whatsoever. Don't stay there.

Room Tip: My best tip to choose a good room is: go to another hotel. Don't come here unless they have a sa...

We enjoyed staying at this small hotel close to the Vatican and only one hundred metres from Ottavio Metro station.
We were able to walk to many of the attractions, the Vatican is only ten minutes.
Plenty of Restaurants nearby, we particularly enjoyed Pasterelle, turn left out of the hotel, the restaurant is 80 metres on the same side (no cover charge).
The rooms were clean and the shower very good. The servicing of the room was hit and miss, clean towels were few and far between.
Breakfast was the only disappointing feature of our stay. The breakfast room is very small with only room for three small tables and the selection of food was poor. No smiles from the lady serving didn't help.
Overall we were happy with our experience.

Room Tip: Rooms at the front overlook the busy road but there is always something going on to provide a bit of...

Lovely accommodation and helpful reception. Room service was minimal and breakfasts quite poor-same food regurgitated each day-stale cornflakes and warm milk. No fresh fruit when we were there though there had been some stale looking fruit on our first morning.
Would recommend you buy your own!

Room Tip: Rooms at the front overlook a busy road so as long as you're happy to keep the windows closed wi...

I booked this hotel on recommendation from a friend. It was a quiet place inside the city limits to get a good night's sleep. It's location is a one minute walk to a metro stop. The metro trip from Termini Station was 8 minutes, which was very easy. It was a little tough to find the place because the sign is merely a gold placard outside the building. Press the buzzer to be let in and walk to the second floor. The rooms were very sound proof and large. The staff helped us acquire a taxi for our 4am departure. The included breakfast consisted of meats, cheeses, pastries, yogurt, cereal, toast, juices and great coffee. My only complaint was some unsightly stains on the comforter. Other than that, the room and bathroom were very clean. We received clean towels and sheets after three nights. I would recommend this hotel to those looking for a convenient but quiet place to stay in Rome.

We stayed here in February and couldn't have asked for a more helpful staff. My bag was both delayed and then items were missing upon arrival. Staff helped draft a letter for the italian police to read in italian and called a solicitor in to give me advice free of charge. They made helpful recommendations for the rest of the stay to ensure we enjoyed Rome despite the luggage. My only pet peeve was a smell from the toilet. Can't be helped in city center Italian plumbing even 5 star luxury locations have the same problem so nothing more could be done.
