This apart/hotel is less than a 10 minute walk to Foro Italico and the Olympic Stadium.
My wife and I stayed here to visit the Rome Masters tennis and couldn't have picked a better location.
It cost us 15 euros to get there from the city centre by taxi but if we had known sooner, we could have travelled by Metro and Tram for 1 euro 50 cents each and when we left to return to Ciampino Airport, instead of paying 50 euros for a taxi, it cost us only 12 euro 80 cents.
The Tram stop is only one minute away and takes you to Piazza del Poppolo in about 5 or 6 minutes. From there you can walk to Trevi Fountain or The Spanish Steps in five minutes or access the Metro and travel all over Rome.
As I said, the ticket costs 1.50 but this gives unlimited access to Trams, Metro and Buses for 100 minutes.
The apartment was large and clean but was tired looking and could do with a bit of an upgrade, especially the kitchen units and appliances, although this would not put us off staying there again.
The only down side for us was that none of the reception staff we encountered could speak very good English and neither my wife nor I can speak Italian which caused a bit of a problem when we were booking out at 6.00am and the guy on reception didn't know how to work the credit card machine; however between us we eventually managed to get it working,

I found the gentelmen at the reception a little slow on asking and taking information.
The rooms are large but needs up dating, and needs a better cleaning system especially dust on TV and carpets needs to be refreshed. It fine for a one night stay near station of Tiburtina.
If you book, choose top floor so you dont have any one walking and talking all night above your head.

Revisited because of location close to the Olympic stadium and the Foro italico for the tennis. The bathrooms appeared to have been updated but our toilet had a badly cracked and broken seat.. Which was replaced the next day, also only half a toilet roll so we pinched a couple from the store cupboard!
The taxi we arranged did not turn up at the airport so we had to find one ourselves at an extra 15 euro. No explanation or apology was given.
We did not have breakfast here preferring to go to the bar down the road in the square which had more choice and a more authentic italian atmosphere.
We also had a corner room on the first floor which overlooked the street and was noisy at night not helped by the army security guards that stood underneath and seemed to chatter to each other all night!
The restaurant opposite is very good and stays open late in the evening which was very useful for us on our way back from the tennis.

Room very spacious but dated, kitchenette very limited in equipment, was described as having a microwave, failed to see it, kitchen ware almost non existent, plenty of cups and saucers but no kettle, had to boil water on electric ring which took about 15-20 mins.
Bed very hard, woke up every am with aches and pains, again described bathrobes as being available, once again failed to see them.
Nice flat screen tv which could be turned round to face bed area.
Safe in room which was good.
Bathroom ok, few wires taped up for fan and quite a lot of mould around bath.
Housekeeping advertised as minimal but maid was in every day and could not fault.
Main desk staff friendly and mostly helpful although their English is limited. We checked out early am and the staff member continually insisted that we still had to pay for room, even after showing him paperwork to say we had paid he was still asking for credit card to make payment.
Wifi in room but require sign in details for everybody using it and needed to sign into it every time.
Close to Olympic stadium which was why we booked it.
Bus terminal and tram station just minutes away. The tram took about 10-15 mins to centre of rome.
Restaurants in vicinity but not a big selection

Some say the location is a bit isolated, but I must addmit it didnt bother me at all. I even kind of liked it since the hotel is very close to the real roman living place: whice means you can easly travle all day to tourists destinations by using the tran and buses outside the hotel, but once you get back to the hotel you can enjoy a full rich, young and vibrating night life (20 min. Walk from the hotel, past the river there's a main leisure area). Every morning you can get a lovely welcoming espresso and a quick bite to eat at one of dozens small neighborhood cafes.

To those who wrote the hotel is outdated I can say that it is well maintained, so who cares if you get a real key instead of a key card??? It is clean, the service is good, and the place is classi abd old-fashioned. The price is funny in comparison to the value of the stah here.

Warmly Recommended!!!
