We arrived at this hotel after walking up and down the street a couple times trying to locate it. It was located in a tiny corner between two buildings with just a small sign above the door. While the website said it was recently renovated, I would say the renovations were just starting and definetly still underway. We were not even sure this was a hotel when we entered the bottom floor, it was unfinished, no signs. We walked up two flights and at the landing were all the rooms, and to the right a small, cramped room with a tiny little desk and about 20 breakfast tables squeezed in. This was the reception/breakfast area. Online they boast a rooftop breakfast area, this was apparently also "under renovation". We were shown to our room. The caretaker was very nice. Our room, however, was tiny - and I have stayed in Europe before and know about its tiny hotel rooms, this however, was ridiculous. The room was also dirty and to top it off, with 90degrees F weather, the a/c was on the fritz and would not turn on. We inquired about another room, were refused this option. We were told the ac would be "fixed." However when the maintenance man came in he just fiddled with the remote and said he had no idea why it wasn't working. Most noticeably, the white slip cover on the sofa was filthy, and there was a noticeable, sticky stain on the comforter. Even when this was pointed out, the staff only attempted a spot clean, and did not make a move to actually WASH the comforter. Additionally, there was no one on staff after 9pm and the only security to the rooms was the key card entry. The caretaker was very offended when we pointed out all the dirty aspects of the room, and said it was perfectly clean. I would not allow guests into my home if my home was in such disrepair. We ended up leaving.
To make it worse on her part, the booking agency reimbursed us our deposit as we did not stay, and the caretaker re-charged us! We fought the charge on our credit card and are still in the process of attempting to get our money back.
We went to another hotel, on the same street, about 100m down, got a room for the same rate, and it was a two story room with fabulous amenities and 24hour staff.

Room Tip: Do not book here.

Overall our stay was excellent at the B&B located 10 steps from the Trevi Fountain. We were a large party and had 4 rooms and each room very drastically different. Some were very large and some were European standard small rooms...all very clean and the breakfast in the morning was excellent. It is not handicapped accessible which was a slight issue for our family but they were very accommodating. The restaurant attached to the hotel is great Tuscan Food....we had one issue with a waiter talking about our family; when he realized that two of us understood the Italian he was saying he apologized and offered us a dessert.

We just returned from our trip to Rome, stayed 3 nights at Trevi B&B and loved it. The rooms were modern, beds comfortable & very clean. Breakfast was more the adequate. Valentina at the front desk was delightful & very helpful with organizing our tour to the Vatican. Perfect location, literally steps to Trevi Fountain & convenient to other site (Pantheon,Piazza Navona).

We found this B & B online and loved it! The only advice we would give is to pack light since there is no elevator (and we don't travel light, but after that, it was not a big deal). Tasty breakfast and wifi in the rooms. BEST bed in Italy - super comfy and flat screen television and working desk. Location could not have been any better (except taxi drivers cannot find it, but we are talking about Rome and they aren't the best!). Hire a driver and it might help with luggage and finding the location - we are definitely going back and will hire a driver for transportation and luggage. Great spot!

The hotel and staff were great. Although the rooms were small by American standards this hotel was beautiful. We found the hotel clean and comfortable. The staff was pleasant and courteous. To be honest the only "problem" I saw was the lack of a hot breakfast but that isn't a deal breaker to me.
Perfect hotel so close to the Trevi fountain yet far enough away that you aren't accosted by crowds the minute you walk out the door.
Il Chianti, the restaurant downstairs was excellent as well.

For the price of a room, we were expecting a positive experience, however it was completely the opposite.

After flying into Rome airport, we followed the hotel directions that were sent to us via email and it sounded pretty easy to get to however finding the b&b at night turned out to be a horrible experience. I would not consider this hotel to be close to the metro (especially with heavy luggage) and there are many narrow cobbled streets to walk down to get there. We would recommend that all travellers staying at this b&b just organise the private taxi transfer. Also, the trevi closes their reception at 9pm which we believe is poor customer service.

The rooms were extremely large (for European standards) and clean and modern, however, the shower water was always luke warm which was a big let down.

The biggest disappointment was the breakfast...one morning they served 5 different cakes and not much else. Unfortunately we were also woken very early one morning by a loud banging noise which went on for over 15 minutes when one of the main security doors was unable to be opened. No apology or explanation was received for this disturbance. We also did not find the staff members to be overly friendly.

Overall, great location and room was comfortable, but the hotel is overpriced and we didn't feel we were even close to getting value for our money.
