Owner description: Probably the most famous chapel in the world because of its incredible artwork, notably "The Last Judgment," Michelangelo's stunning fresco covering 10,000 square feet of the ceiling and wall.

No matter how big the queue or how crowded the halls, not to mention security ushering you through. If you stay focused and determined to take it all in, this experience really is a one off and your eyes will see something quite extraordinary, if not super human! It’s breathtaking and leaves a remarkable impression of brilliance and talent beyond anything we have ever, or will ever see again!

So crowded it was impossible to enjoy this wonderful place. The history and art are incredible but they now let far to many people in and you are jostled and pushed about. If there is an off peak go then but regrettably think that you just have to suffer the crowds

Because I didn't want to buy an excessive express ticket I waited for 3h30 in a queue. At the end I discovered that the guards only open the gate every 10 minutes to let 15 poor people to enter, giving top priority to rich people. Christian spirit! So it was the end of the day and we rushed to the chapel, hoping that the "cheap" 27 € ticket worths the view. I am sure you will not believe it but this dark (no windows - soft lights) crowded room full of paints IS NOT BEAUTIFUL. It is technically well painted but that is all. I will never pay such a high price and time for this! Thrust me and skip this visit.

Words can’t describe the beauty and impressiveness of the Sistine Chapel. It’s worth the trip to Rome just to witness the magic of the art work. You won’t want to miss this!

The walk through the Vatican museums to the Sistine Chapel is long but it’s full of gorgeous sights. The Sistine Chapel is gorgeous. There are a few seats but most of the area is standing room only. You can’t take pictures inside the chapel.
