I like this hotel, it's ideal for a shorter or even longer stay, particularly if you want to travel further on by ship, as it's located close to the ship docks (one still has to the take the extra bus though for check-in at the docks, particularly with baggage).
Staff is very professional and attentive and I particularly like that I got an upgrade to a seaview room at a higher floor.
Also, the Corona measures are perfect, very safe and not too disturbing. The maids are also professional, respecting the guests' privacy.

Room tip: upper floors, with seaview

Hotel located in the center. With a view of the harbour. No idea if there is a parking, but we could park our car on the street next to the hotel. 12 euro for city tax & parking (parking voucher available at the reception).
Extensive breakfast with service (excellent COVID 19 measures). Free welcome drink & drinks in the minibar. friendly staff and good location to explore the town.
Price / quality slightly overrated (375 euros for 2 standard rooms).

Amazing hotel! Newly-restored, modern and classy, yet cozy and comfortable - an absolutely lovely place to stay!
Staff are amazing - multi-lingual, very friendly and welcoming.
The room was amazing - spacious and light, very comfortable bed, great bathroom.
Great location - within easy walking distance from bars and restaurants.

We have a home in Ancona but sometimes like to take a stay-cation and the Grand Hotel Palace is the ideal place to do so. Earlier in the year a water main broke in our neighborhood so we just packed our overnight bags and checked into Hotel Palace for a night. This week, having completed 3 months of lockdown in another region of Italy, we decided to spend our first days back in Ancona at Hotel Palace. The hotel itself was just coming out of lockdown and has made some temporary changes for current regulations. For the time being, the wonderful breakfast buffet has been replaced with a smaller assortment of good local foods that are delivered to your room. Until the wine bar can reopen, the hotel is able to offer a limited menu of dishes via room service dinner. The rooms are still luxuriously appointed, the wifi is great, and hotel staff go out of their way to make sure that each stay is perfect. We'll be back!

Room tip: the rooms in the front have wonderful views of the seaport
