We knew we'd be tired from the ferry and anticipating an early train to Rome, booked this hotel for one evening. Reviews were mixed, but the location clinched it for us. It really IS across the street from the station. Turned out to be an absolute delight. Big clean, crisp room, huge new bath and best of all, the breakfast! Who knew there'd be such a lovely spread, hosted by smiling staff, at such a reasonable, even bargain price?
Only regret was that we couldn't stay longer. Thank you, Fortuna

Room tip: I don't know, we were so tired, our room was quiet.

The nice location very close to Ancona station.
And cosy and simple room.
The conversations and sound of steps out side the door sometimes....
Breakfast was good variety and staffs smiled.
I think good this hotel is good for cost as quality.
ps: it's needed to take a bus go to city center about for 10 or less minutes.

A hotel opposite the station, so very convenient. Also it’s where the airport shuttle bus stops, which is an added advantage. But the hotel is a way from everything else, including acceptable restaurants. I was given one of the nicer rooms at my request, but it was pretty simple. The air con wasn’t working so levels of comfort aren’t great. The room doors create a huge noise and you can hear conversations in adjacent rooms. So not a top of the range experience!

Dear Guest,
thank you for your comment.
We'd like to point out that air conditioned is perfectly performing in all rooms. Probably you didn't see the power button on the wall as you came in your room.
Sorry for that

Best regards

I am writing this review and I am still in the room of Fortuna hotel in Ancona. I have been in many hotels around the globe but I found this one as the worst of all. The room looks dirty, the wall are so thin that you are able to hear everything from next door. During night who ever uses the bathroom you hear almost everything. Not to mention that at the moment someone is having a shower and can hear the water coming from the tubes. I am thing to check the breakfast, since I canot sleep (07:00) but I am afraid that it will be a great disappointment.
Keep away from this place if you want a quiet room with privacy.

Dear Guest,
we're so sorry this happened to you. In these past days the city fair brought us many boisterous owners of the market stalls, who unfortunately had little respect for other guests.
Usually clients don't complain about these problems
We sincerely apologize to you

This was a nice, clean hotel. It is directly across the street from the train station. There are several places to eat nearby. It was perfect for our one night stay while passing through. We were even able to see some of beautiful Ancona while there.
