An attractive property sympathetically modernised in rural position, good for town & park (prison as neighbour bit of a surprise!). Quiet. Owner very friendly and helpful-makes own oil & honey. We stayed for a week but didn't do breakfast. We rented one of the small flats which was adequate but probably better suited to overnight/weekend stays. I found the description rather misleading as it appears from the photos that you had sofas etc, but this is in fact a communal area. The arrangement of beds was disappointing in the small 'flat'. It consisted of 2 rooms but didn't specify that the 2nd room was actually the kitchenette, with 2 pull out Ikea beds not at all suitable for older children. As a consequence, there was no living space and it was difficult to use the kitchen in any meaningful way. The kitchen was sparsely furbished. Although it was in a convenient position, we would have been better off renting a house.
