I had promised to give my wife a taste of potato pizza when in Italy and was hoping to pick up one from one of my favourite pizzerias back from when I was studying in the city, but alas it was closed on the day we visited.
Thankfully I found this other place in the town that was open and run by a couple of friendly people. They were seemingly only serving pizza by the slice for lunch, but I asked if they could make us a bespoke option with potato and rosemary and they seemed more than happy too! Unfortunately, I neglected to ask for cheese on it, but that was my fault and it still tasted good. They didn't charge us a great deal either, so it was great for a cheap lunch that we took up to the park at the city summit.
The pizzeria seems to specialise in Genovese food and so you can pick up a farinata (chickpea pancake) here, which is typically eaten in the North-West of the country and along the coast there.
