We found this place while waiting for a table for dinner at Drogheria Rossa next door. It looked inviting and calm, and some people out front were drinking big glasses of Aperol spritz, glowing amber and gold. We went in and had the same fantastic drinks, plus a plate of local cold cuts like Parma ham, culatello, coppa and mortadella and it was so good we came back for a whole meal the next day.
The tuna tataki and the pasta specialities like tortellini Al brodo in broth were so good I knew our goose was cooked, as they say. I literally ordered goose and it did not disappoint. We quaffed great glugs of local wine and were well and truly plucked after this quacking evening.
Oh yeah - the olives the big green round olives, were a taste of a better world. I wish everywhere was this good!
